“I honestly had a great experience at this school even with all the difficulties that it had my freshman year, since it had just opened. While, I did find the course load to be a lot to handle and the trimester system to be fast paced, in the end I think it prepared me for the rest of life. I am currently in college and had this school not been as rigorous as it is, I would have found the first semester of my freshman year to be a lot harder for me. Another reason I enjoyed this school and still continue to enjoy it is because you really get to know everyone and your teachers. When I have free time I still like to say hi to everyone and see what is going on. If you want to go to a school that will prepare you for the rest of your life and that you will not just be a number in, then I recommend going to Sage Creek.”

“Love the chill teachers and I've made really strong friendships that I'll ever have in my lifetime here and we've had some pretty awesome times together. Yes there are some problems with some students and administrators but overall if you treat everyone with respect you'll get the same amount back. The sports programs here are awesome and anyone coming to this school will have an awesome experience. Gonna miss this school next year!”

You can also join lots of things like Gardening Club, Student Council, Safety Patrol, Track Team, and Scrabble Club. There is also a millionare club for if you read a million words. Also there is Alamosa's Got Talent and its amazing.”

“Our daughter was struggling in Reading at her school that she was in first grade in. The other school he went to had two teachers for one class. One teacher 2 days a week 1 teacher 3 days a week. They stressed my daughter out so much that she ate all her pencils down to about 2 in and ate her own hair while she was working because she was so afraid of messing up. We moved to Coronado and she had gone from kindergarten level reading in first grade 2 grade level reading now in second grade. It's due to the fact that they have a reading program and the teacher is so positive and helpful to her. The teachers at Coronado are so good at knowing what is important to focus on and doing it in a positive,helpful, happy, and kind way so the kids aren't put under so much pressure. We have three kids in the school and we are both very very happy. Thank you Coronado Elementary”

“Our son has been going here for 2 years. He is 3 1/2 now. He comes home and tells us about the continents, what month it is, what season we are in, he can count to 30...it's remarkable what he is learning! I feel he is safe with Sadaf (and her husband when he is there). It would be great if they were able to retain staff better, but sometimes that is out of your control, especially in a small setting like that. I do wish the food they served was higher quality/less junk, but to be fair we could make our son's own lunch and we choose not to, so it's really on us. But overall we have had a great experience there, and it's much less expensive than most daycare/preschools in the area but you are still providing your child with high quality care and teachings.”
