“Awesome area. Walked into the visitor center and was greeted by Chris, one of the rangers. He was very informative without being overbearing or anything. They had a small museum/display area. The park has some decent trails. Just watch out for cow pies. The trails seem pretty well marked. There are some powerlines running through and part of the park has hwy 79 in view, but they didn't seem distracting.”

“Susan and I spent a great Autumn weekend at COTR. This home is beautiful, modern and with unexpected luxuries like a hammock, hot tub, firepit, stargazer patio and a fully equipped kitchen. Linens and furniture were great and there's even a laundry facility if needed. We lounged around for the most part, just enjoying the scenery, the apple-tastic town of Julian, CA and a lunch at Volcan Winery. Being honest, we crashed most of Saturday afternoon and evening on the couch, just watching Netflix and decompressing.”
