“I went on hiking trip in Seattle and got a wood sliver deep in my foot from a walk on the beach. After 2 weeks of event work and continued infection, I saw a general MD but he insisted I see a podiatrist. That same day I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Redkar in Beverly Hills. After days of worry and anxiety, she was able to fully treat me that same day. She was kind and truly relieved all my medical concerns. She did a small procedure and ordered antibiotics and I was on my way to healing. I also had a follow up visit with at Dr. Redkar's Olympic blvd. office as well. The staff were all friendly and helpful at both offices. Plus, the cost of services was affordable. Dr. Redkar was wonderful and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend her. If you have any issues regarding your feet, this is the place to go. Big thanks to Dr. Redkar! I am now back to my everyday yoga practice.”

“Nice hike but make sure you are ready with eyes open. This is a 5 mile out and back with a bit over 1200 vertical feet. Some shade, but a lot of exposure also. Water, sunscreen and good footwear are an absolute must. I think the first 1/2 is the most strenuous but opinions may differ. A great option is to take the main train up and return using the Five Oaks trail which diverges from the main trail and connects again (you can't get lost). Great views from the top from Catalina Island to the Salton Sea.”

“I have been going to Carlsbad coastal dental for more than 10 years and I love this place. The technology, the expertise, the customer service is always better than expected. Everything is well explained and Dr. Thylin is so honest with our family's care. We schedule our whole family together and make it a dental day. They are very accommodating and I know it's really hard to get on the schedule but that's because they are awesome and in high demand so availability is limited. The office is extremely thoughtful of its patients. We get hand written mailed cards for all occasions and most recently I scheduled a teeth whitening because we're getting married November. Just 2 days later there's a card in the mail from the entire office congratulating us. It's so meaningful and appreciated to have our dentist do that! If you're able to use Carlsbad Coastal Dental I highly recommend them.”

“Islamic School of San Diego (ISSD) has a new name, Bright Horizon Academy (BHA). It is one of the best Islamic schools in US. In 2021, it is only the third full time Islamic high school in San Diego. My elder daughter studied their from KG thru 8th. My younger daughter in graduating 8th and will continue in the high school. The teachers are very dedicated, has great Islamic environment and core education is also good. There are two campuses, elementary school is in Claremont area while middle and high school is in Allied Gardens campus.”

It can get packed at times but it is always worth the wait. I got the Big Breakfast w/ French toast.
