“I started working out at Movement Mechanics as a college athlete. After finishing school and joining the workforce, I desperately needed more than the widely available, cookie-cutter group fitness classes to keep my competitive nature satisfied. What I needed was a coach and man do I have a good one now! Movement Mechanics was transparent with their coaching style and I was communicative on what I wanted as a client. After a few months the workouts are going great and the results are starting to show (lost a few pounds and feel much stronger/confident). I also noticed Movement Mechanics caters to elderly people and little kids too. I am surprised by how knowledgeable Movement Mechanics is in order to provide professional, common sense fitness advice to all their clients. There are not many places with this level of experience. Also the range of equipment is amazing, everything I need is here! Edit: It's been about 2 or 3 years that I have been training with Movement Mechanics. Life happens and unfortunately the gym has moved around a bit. I even moved to a different area too. I go to a different gym now and had to say goodbye to Movement Mechanics, but yet again the local group fitness classes in my area were inadequate. So I reached out to Movement Mechanics and am now following a fitness plan through the app Trainerize. I was skeptical at first, not having a coach physically next to me, but the customer support I get from Movement Mechanics is professional, motivational, and timely. It's like I have my coach back, except in my phone! The workouts all have videos attached to them as well as a direct messaging feature in case I have further questions. I am loving this online coaching method. Quality workouts from a quality coach, when I want it. Genius!”

“I came in with my son and the employee in the front and the salon worker asked how to help me and my son. I said, "I want a haircut for my son." They told us to wait. So we waited. When it was our turn, the employees said they could not help us because my son is a kid. Then they asked me which of the picture haircut I want for my son. I pointed and they said they can not help us and they told us to go somewhere else; because they then said they didn't want to help us. The man and the woman were helping two white men and as soon as they left, the man and the woman started with the deragatory words and actions. When the woman started cutting my son's hair, I said I want the front cut straight with the front combed straight down. The woman said my son is going to look like a coconut with that haircut. I said that's so rude. Then the man said I'm stupid because I'm a Mexican and I don't understand. Then the man came up to me and said they don't accept cards and I said I never asked about that and I'm paying with cash. Then when we were leaving, they just gave us dirty looks as we opened the door and left after that. That was so rude and so unprofessional of the man and the woman. I was looking forward to an excellent haircut because a reccomendation from Alex Mosqueda. Now, I am extremely dissatisfied by the blatant racist remark. I'm sorry. I will take my business elsewhere.”
