  Quick and easy to get on a ferry. Just double check that you have the right amount of tickets. Ticket lady thought it was just us when we had others waiting.

  It was a nice cruise experience for us in San Francisco. We got city pass which included this as one of the attractions. The cruise is one hour long and takes you around Alcatraz island and under the Golden Gate bridge and before coming back to the pier you can also get a great view of the San Francisco Bay Bridge on the other side of downtown SF. There is a bar and restaurant in the 1st level of the cruise so you can munch something on and gulp your favourite drink while enjoying the cruise. You need to head to the point in between Pier 39 and 41 to board the cruise, but before that ensure that you get the tickets in exchange of you city pass voucher (voucher itself doesn't allow entry). At the start and end you would invariably see the sea lions who would inform you of their presence by their cacophony. But the foul smell that they have repels you a bit, if you take my words. We were unlucky as we could not capture great photos as it was a foggy day. Therefore ensure to plan for this on a sunny day based on weather forecasts, then you can get the dream pictures.

  Nice way to get from Vallejo to SF. Lots of convenient run times, and much more peaceful than fighting traffic.

  We recently used their cruise between Bay bridge and golden fate bridge. They accepted the coupon bought from Costco - SFO explorer pass. Totally it was 90 mins trip.
  
  Since we went on a Friday that too last trip at 3.45.p.m. It was less crowded. So we totally enjoyed the trip and nice view of the golden Gaye bridge and Alcatraz island.
  
  Their narration throughout the journey was informative and interesting. Especially some of the real people voice from Alcatraz island was awesome. We were able to take nice photos near the Golden Gate Bridge.

  Nice soothing ride to San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Fairly inexpensive for a round trip. $28 round trip for an adult, $22 if you use a Clipper card. From Vallejo to The Wharf and back.
