  Fell and scrapped my leg pretty bad. Went to my primary care physician first, who is normally pretty good, and they really didn't really do anything and said it would heal on its own. Then went to Dr. Blasko, who identified an infection traveling up my leg. She had my wound meticulously cleaned and prescribed antibiotics and my leg got better. If untreated I could have lost my leg or even my life. With my diabetes I am especially prone to infections. This is a pretty clear example of why podriatry is fundamentally different than primary care medicine. Dr. Blasko's patient care is excellent.

  I used a Groupon for toe nail fungus treatment with Dr Madelena Blasko, a 20+ licensed CA podiatrist. She is very knowledgeable & spent 15-20 minutes explaining the causes of the fungus, the cool laser treatment and the suggested daily follow up to prevent reoccurrence. She also suggested a follow up visit in 3 months. One visit will not be a "cure all" because of the slow growth of the nailbed!

  Dr. Blasko is fantastic.
  
  As a runner I have a myriad of foot issues and have been searching for someone I can trust to help me understand what's really happening and how to prevent future issues.
  
  She took the time to thoroughly explain my problem, and possible solutions about e the ankle (we even talked about how my diet may be affecting my ability to heal).
  
  She's also very cheeky, which I appreciate.
  
  I won't be taking my feet to anyone else.

  I've been a patient of Doctor Blasko for at least 4 years. Doctor Blasko is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to your feet. She is very kind and caring person. I would highly recommend Doctor Blasko to anyone who needs care when it comes to pain and management of their feet.
