“Super friendly baristas here. I remember a particularly funny interaction with a gal who recommended the bagel bites to me. They were seriously delicious. Very down to earth people. Sometimes there are homeless people in this area, but they're mostly harmless. Love the small business vibe around here!”

“Ordered a lei here for my wedding and it was gorgeous! A little pricey (100 bucks) but worth it on my special day. The lovely ladies who work here are all so friendly and cheerful, its like going to grandmas house!!! Wide selection of specialty leis, great quality and craftsmanship.”

“As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, I know how very important exercise is for my mental health. Working out regularly with Keirsten has made such a difference not only in my fitness level, but in my overall happiness. It’s hard to motivate to workout on my own, but I always look forward to my workouts with Keirsten. Instead of focusing on which muscle groups I want to work, she’ll ask, “How does your body feel today?” and then tailor the workout to the appropriate strength and energy level. Don’t get me wrong, we work very hard! (and my butt has never looked better!) As a dancer and aerialist, she knows how to build strength without bulk. And the work she’s done with me on balance and mobility will be even more valuable as I get older. I never dread going to see her because I know I’m going to be supported no matter my mood and I know that I’ll leave feeling better than I did going in. I can’t say enough good things about this awesome trainer.”

“This place may be a grocery store, but it is a great place to get lunch and eat outside. Every conceivable food is available here, and it is good quality. I enjoy eating outside and share my food with the local birds.”

“Very cute little cafe in an area that doesn't have a lot of commerce. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive.”

“Cozy Chinese eatery in Union Square. All the Chinese food basics are here and well represented. Also a couple surprises for more advanced eaters. Friendly service and affordable especially being in Union Square. The perfect spot to warm up on a cold night. Two dumplings up????????”

“Excellent Thai food. The mushroom tartine is excellent and I do not even like mushrooms. We also really enjoyed the noodles. The pork belly flavor was excellent, but it was a little fatty (yes, I know) and not as tender as others I have tried. While I recommend having reservations, we were walk-ins on a Sat night and waited less than 45 minutes.”

“I have been coming here since late 70'S and now love in chicago, but every chance I get I return ( or have my siblings bring me some to Chicago). I love the food and the family that own this place are awesome... Best baby shrimp in hot pepper sauce, Cherry style Pork and Mushu pork and even better is the hot and sour soup.”

“This is one of my (if not my absolute) favourite filipino restaurants in SF. I came across it pretty much by accident when I was looking for filipino food, not having heard of it beforel It's located in TL which isn't the greatest, but it's not a deal breaker (plus, if the location was really an issue for you, they're available on some food delivery platforms). Upon entering, it already felt "familiar" in a way that other filipino restaurants in SF didn't. It felt homey and the staff were friendly and kinda reminded me of my aunties; they were helpful too, especially when they (probably) saw the overwhelmed look on my and my bf's faces when seeing the lengthy menu. Eventually (and multiple times since that first visit) I settled on the tapsilog and it has become one of my favourite things to get here... that, and the lumpia. Can't argue with the classics ;) The last time I was here, I brought some of my filipina friends with me and they liked the food too, especially the lechon. A+”

“The most amazing crew! My door got locked with keys inside when I was trying to get gas in the neighborhood. My 17-month son was in the car. This amazing crew arrived in minutes and used a nifty tool to open the door without breaking any windows. They quick, incredibly understanding (as you can imagine I was freaking out) and they did it all with a smile. My son had no idea what happened, all he remembered were kind firefighters who gave him stickers and a firefighter hat. Absolutely amazing crew! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”
