  They were so friendly here. Gave me a fair appraisal on my car and worked to make the stress of selling my car so much easier. They worked to ensure I was happy and taken care of.

  My son and I were thrilled with our experience buying a nearly new car from CarMax. It was easy and fun and we are loving our Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. It's like new, but I didn't have to pay new car prices. It was also easy to trade in my old car and get financing.

  This was our first experience with CarMax, and it has gone very very well. We went to Colma because they had a car of the type we wanted. It turned out that it had been reserved, so we could not drive it that day. But the sales person, Frank, was very helpful.
  
  We ended up having a car transferred from Phoenix. It had exterior and interior colors that we wanted (and somewhat rare) as well as a good level of options installed. It cost $400 but we appreciated that we were under no obligation , other than paying the transfer cost. The transfer took a few weeks.
  
  When it arrived, we did an extensive test drive, and really liked it so bought the car.
  
  The whole process went well. We never felt pressured, and were always given good information and there were no "surprises". Followup after the sale was also very good, and one minor problem that came up after a few weeks was repaired under the warranty.
  
  We had always avoided buying used cars from dealers or used car lots before, but after this experience, we will certainly go back to CarMax
