  Went in to order the 2-2-4 to go, and the staff made things super easy. I felt safe as they observed the covid rules (masks, distancing, plexiglass at the counter). Food was delicious and packaged in a recyclable container with a plastic bag, with syrup and butter in separate sauce containers.
  
  Protip: you can order the hash browns crispy for added texture.

  I have been going to Gunther’s for more than 25 + years. ✌️
  Delicious food, wonderful service, especially Erin and Rafael, who serves me when I drop by. I always get a smile from them all the time.??
  Accept when it was COVID-19; when they were closed; I was a regular customer!?
  My favorite dish is their Corn Beef & Cabbage and Potato and veggie dish. So plentiful and delicious!
  Gunther’s reopened recently on Wednesday for inside dining. Their burgers and steaks fries are the best!
  I am looking forward to dining again at one of my favorite restaurant’s ? Thank you Gunther’s for reopening.

  The building is rather old and the interior a bit batter but had good comfortable vibes. The food, oh the food, Is another story. The chicken fried steak was fantastic but the cream sauce on top was even better. It was really a creamy, peppery and sausage studded gravy. Really southern like. The eggs were cooked as requested and bigger than I've had in a while. The hash browns could of been maybe a bit crisper but still was good. Took about 40% home.
  We also got the hot turkey sandwich without the bread. It came with lots of mix veges. and a mound of mash potatoes with gravy.
  Ended up taking 50% home.
  Definitely will come back for the home style, and well cooked food. I think one of the meal was about $14. Good value for the quality, and amount of food in the Bay area.

  I ordered the bacon and eggs, with a side of waffle w/strawberries! My order came in 5 minutes! Not to mention it was nice and warm. Everything was perfect! Airy and good temperature! Not too loud, as I appreciate people using their indoor voices!
  
  I was looking for a place to eat breakfast, while my mom was in surgery across the street at Kaiser and this place came up. I looked at the photos of their menu items and they looked super delicious. My plates looked just the same and tasted great. My tummy is happy!
