“My $700 Maui Jim Rx stunners needed warranty work. Ideal Vision carries Maui Jim's and Candice was super helpful in informing me of Maui Jims repair and warranty policy and what I could expect. I needed two new ear pieces and the lens recoated as they were scratched. What I recieved was a brand new pair of prescription tiger eye rose, lens and new frames FREE covered under warranty. All I paid for was shipping and handling ($16). If you've never tried Maui Jim, Rose Lens you don't know what you are missing. Details just pop. Ideal Vision took great care of me and service was speedy. I will also start coming here for eye exams, Great friendly service.”

“Alex's shop does great work. I have an old classic car, and had some severe body damage and rusting around one of the wheel wells, so the work took a fair bit of time - but the price was extremely reasonable - much more reasonable than other quotes I was getting in the Bay Area. Will definitely be coming back for additional work if the other rusty areas of my car start to give me issues. Its definitely worth bringing your car in person for him to review - once he provides an estimate there, he sticks to it, so he's definitely an honest guy to work with!”

“Our son started at L’Academy in San Mateo two months ago and he’s enjoying his time there! He talks about his teachers and friends all the time and looks forward to going to school (Although he still doesn’t like saying goodbye to mommy or daddy when he gets dropped off in the morning). I can tell the director Farina really cares about the kids, as she has gone above and beyond to help our son get acclimated to his first experience being at school. She also takes the time at the end of the day to give us updates on how his day went and even asks us (the parents) how we’re doing as she knows it’s a big transition for the adults too! The center uses a wonderful app that allows the staff to update us with notes about meals and potty, as well as when they went down for nap and photos of what they did throughout the day. We fell in love with it after our tour with the co-founder Helena. She was warm and welcoming, and took the time to answer all our questions. I appreciated the in-person tour and for allowing our son to play in the classroom when other schools only had virtual tour. Just prior to our son‘s first day, the director also set up a time for us to visit the school with our son again to get him acquainted with the classroom, his classmates and teachers. We appreciate the transparency that these visits provided, which ultimately helped us to decide to send our son here, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! A few other bonus points: + Cleanliness, the school is brand new and only started enrolling students back in October 2021 + The teachers, Teacher Melissa and Teacher Wendy, speak excellent Mandarin, and introduce fun songs in Mandarin that my son remembers and sings all the time when he‘s at home + Excellent COVID protocol and weekly testing for the staff, children and families + A nut-free school, plus additional adjustments made to the menu to accommodate for our son’s multiple food allergies + Nutritious snacks and lunch provided + Flexible full-time/ part-time schedule + Helps with potty training but doesn’t require the child to be potty-trained to start In short, if you’re looking for a center that provides a stimulating program along with a language immersion experience for your child, I would highly recommend L’Academy!”

“Fair price and quick quality work even though it was very busy it only took about 15 minutes to get two tires replaced they were very welcoming and answer all the questions I had this is the one stop shop for all size tires it was about $20 more than the cheapest shops around but at least they weren't charging you double like the most expensive places in the area”

“Wonderful staff who truly care about their students. They communicate well with parents' and take feedback seriously. My child only spoke a handful of words when he first started Challenge and his language developed rapidly after a few months. I attribute it to the caring and attentive teachers. Thank you Challenge for all that you do for our kids! Highly recommend it!”

“Awesome pizza spot. Just stopped by and ordered a wing sampler- Curry, Tandoori, Achari, and Lemon Pepper, a meat lovers small pizza and a large half and half of the tandoori chicken and curry chicken masala. Soooo good and perfect combination. Will definitely be stopping by again before leaving San Francisco, and any other time we're out here.”

“Fast, fair prices, classic, simple Chinese food. The use of corn starch was a little heavy but not out of line. the lunch specials are a single entree and rice so we got a side dish of steamed vegetables. The salt and pepper pork was battered and this is not how I’m used to it but it tasted great. I’m not sure this dish would be as good as take out but as dine in and hot and crispy I really liked it. $30 for two for lunch.”

“I have been going to Dr Eileen McCarthy for a million years. She is so careful and attentive to details. She never does unnecessary work. I have complete trust in her work and her recommendations for any other dental work I need. I have recommended her to many friends who have switched to her after seeing her once.”

“I think with this hotel you are paying for the location and the ocean view. Our room faced the ocean (it's across highway 1 but there is a crosswalk and the beach is easily accessible). It was nice to watch the surfers/sunset. It's an older hotel with nice character from the outside but the room was disappointing. It was basically clean but it looked like the sliding glass door and the track for the door had not been cleaned in a while. The door was difficult to open and the lock didn't work properly. The curtains needed a wash. There never seemed to be enough washcloths. The mattress was comfortable but older and little stability. We are not big on jacuzzi's so the large tub was just in our way. Previous reviews indicated there was breakfast but there was just coffee and tea in warming pots. Luckily there is a Starbucks within walking distance. Despite the issues noted I give this hotel 4 stars because 1) The location/great ocean view. 2) I was charged a higher room rate than what I agreed to on Booking.com. I didn't receive a receipt at checkout but saw the higher price when I checked my email. I called the hotel. The manager called me back, nicely apologized and refunded the extra fee.”

“I grad in 1979-80. I went back 20 yrs later as a T/A for spec.ed. Ms. Lackey was still there. I worked with Ms. San Gabriel and Dr.George. When I left had Mr Demelio as principal (later bacame Super.)and Mr Veronda as vice, (whom I heard was working with incarcerated young boys) The school was accredited then and im sure it only got better. It definitely had its share of derelict students, parents and a couple shady teachers but for the most part , it had some outstanding faculty that will always be remembered. We had Langstons in the 50's Turturici's in the 60's & Langstons again in the 70's. Love you Bayside❤aloha”

“I would like to give them 100 stars!! The owner and staff are very attentive. You cannot find another assisted living facility that will treat your family like their own. It's everyone on their staff and owner are very loving and positive atmosphere. I was there and witnessed the care they gave to all their patients - and across the board they love and care for them all equally. I highly recommended and refer Hearts at Millwood Assisted Living all those in need. Simply the best and their pricing is fair! Don't wait, call them if you have a need. You won't be disappointed. ♥️”
