“Normally I go to San Francisco to get my lotus service, but I was told that there mechanic quit. So I decided to take my car to the lotus boardwalk. The service advisor was the best and to top it off I was able to talk to the mechanic, he was very good and helpful was able to spot the problem from the beginning. I'm super happy with the work they did. I will highly recommend this place because they fix my car in a timely manner. Super excited to have my 2017 Lotus Evora 400 back. “I've wanted to check out this park for quite some time and a few times we did stop there was no parking. There is a total of nine parking spots plus one handicap spot and it is tight. Make sure to back into your parking spot or else you're going to have a world of trouble trying to get out. Today we stopped there by chance and miraculously someone was walking to their car and we were able to back into our spot. There is a Private Road that is not for pedestrians and the trail that goes alongside of it. This park is pretty small compared to all the other ones and a walk down to a lackluster pond I just don't think was worth the time but I'm happy to check this one off my list. If you walk all the way down it's about 400 ft in elevation not too steep. The one highlight of this trip was on the way up I thought I was taking a shortcut and I found a geocache which was the first one I've ever found. You'll see my signature there. There's a couple of good opportunities to take photos of the bay and Stanford Tower. Of course we did pass a couple families with their kids and the little girls of course complaining that they didn't want to walk anymore. Parents please stop forcing your daughters to go on hikes unless they want to, I mean the complaining is loud enough to make us want to get away from your family as soon as possible.”

“I used Mavericks Coast Construction to rebuild my uncle's stairs coming off his sliding door to his backyard. His old stairs were physically coming off of his house. He is 76 years old, and I needed to make sure he was not in danger of falling, as he lives alone. The work was done very quickly and efficiently. The stairs are awesome, and extremely sturdy. I was extremely pleased with the new stairs. The pricing was fair too! Great communication with the contractor. I would highly recommend them.”

“This studio has always been pretty great, but it is especially awesome now. It's recently under new management, and you can really tell a difference--the interior of the studio has been refreshed, it's cleaner, and most importantly, the classes are as great as they've ever been. Challenging but welcoming workouts, with plenty of modifications and personal adjustments kindly and professionally offered when needed. You can get a good workout almost anywhere you go, but I genuinely look forward to each classic take here, which I can't say for other barre places on the Peninsula. “Ground School/Flights Lessons: Long overdue review. I’ve received instructions from different instructors/schools, and San Carlos Flight Center is a flight School of it’s own kind. I took Herb’s Private Pilot Ground School course back in 2019 at the old location next to Hiller Aviation Museum, and it’s a course I recommend to anyone interested in flying. At the time it was $300, you can come back anytime within two years to complete the course (if you stop attending for any reason). One class a week (two days to pick from…Tuesday night?/Thursday morning?). 12 weeks at three (four?) hour sessions (OR you can pay an individual instructor 36 hours @ regular instructor rate of at least $80/hour)…you do the math…there aren’t that many flights schools anywhere that offer a Private, and or Instrument Ground School for a fix rate. If you pass the weekly exams/final practice test, you can get your endorsement to take the knowledge/written exam. The course wasn’t easy, lots of reading and studying, but well worth the money. I’ve met private students at an accelerated program where no one preps you for the written exam, and fraction of the ground class. I wish I would have taken the Instrument Ground School, and finished my private/instrument certificate through SCFC.”
