  This is my first time trying hot pot, but it will definitely not be the last. The food and service here exceed my expectations and the experience here is really next level.
  
  Wait time: We were seated quickly and barely had to wait and the food already came (probably 3 - 4 minutes), one of the fastest service I have experienced in a traditional restaurant.
  
  Experience: compared to other dining food experiences. Eating hot pot is a very interactive and social experience. Through cooking the food in four flavorful broths, you understood what goes in your food. In addition, the atmosphere here felt socially. Everyone around you: waiters, customers, are all friendly and warm.
  
  Food: we got a modest amount of food including sichuan crispy pork, pork belly, vegetable combo, skewers, beef, etc. The portions were plentiful for our party of 2 and we felt full and fulfilled afterwards.
  
  Service: Our server Patrick was one of the most compassionate servers I have interacted with. Waters were always refilled quickly and any concerns we had were quickly resolved. I felt really happy with the experience and have no complaints
  
  Overall, I highly highly recommend anyone who wants a next level dining experience to come to HaiDiLao for your next meal!

  First time but definitely not last time visit. Service from beginning to end was absolutely stellar and exceeded all expectations comparable to the famous Din Tai Fung! Walk in welcomed but be prepared to wait 90 min on a weekend evening.
  
  All the food and I mean all of it was so fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. My favorites were the grass fish, shrimp paste, prime rib eye and seafood combo platter. The sauce bar had so many options but a bit cramped.
  
  All the details were so nicely appointed from the side cart to the serving tongs that have a built in rest to the bib and Ziploc for your phone to the birthday fruit platter and sign to the Reservations definitely recommended.

  For hot pot, it's pretty good. You really need the sauces for this because even though the soups are very tasty, because the food is essentially just boiled and doesn't soak it in such a short time.
  
  Seafood combo comes with a large platter of veggies. But the best meat is the fatty Kobe beef. It cools in about 30 seconds and is tender and buttery.
  
  We had the mushroom soup and the pork bone broth soup. Very good.
  
  Also comes with soft serve ice cream dessert.

  04/20 Friendly staff. Great food. Unfortunately there's no noodle dancing person as for today. Today was my friend's first time here, I really wanted her to see them.
  
  04/22 went back again with my family this time. Hoping to see the noodle dancing person, unfortunately, I was again informed that the guy is not here today as well. I really wanted my family to see the noodle dancing person since it's not something they have experienced. I wished they would have told me that the person would be away for a week or so... Overall, service was nice as always.
  
  Random notice, personally, I think the chair was too low for me. Last time I seated at a booth and didn't notice it, maybe because the cushion elevated it.

  Very special dining experience here. We have multiple hot pot places in Bay Area. But from Haidilao, you will feel difference. Their service is super good if you pay attention to these details on the services you got. If you order the noddle, you will enjoy the show of making noddle when dancing in front of you!
  Their buffet bar is special good deal given the $1.99 price. You will get not just all kinds of sauces, but also fruits such as grapes, tomatoes, seaweed and peanuts.
  The meat options are not as many as other places although you get more options on fishes and seafood. They have no draft beer and you can get only bottle beer.
  At the end, they will ask you if you want to ice cream which is included in the price of buffet bar.
