The Ameswell Hotel

Came for dinner and the server mentioned how good their brunch was, so we finally made it out for breakfast. Glad we did! Had the French toast, bagel breakfast Sammy, salmon frittata, and blt- all were delicious. Combo of flavors, quality of ingredients, and preparation/plating were all on point. Washed it down with some really great coffee (very smooth for a dark roast), bottomless mimosas (fresh oj), and pineapple cocktail. Love the outdoor space for the kids and pup. Staff was even more amazing than the food- they were attentive, friendly, and even offered the dog a bowl of his own. Highly recommend. Go early if you want fewer folks around- it can get busy.

Super nice place, friendly people. Very quiet place to stay. Clean inside and out. Very nice bar downstairs and well cared for grounds all around the building. Safe parking.

Great hotel, we've already planned our next stay. Comfortable bed, spacious rooms. Good food at the Roger. Amazing grounds, a hot tub addition would make it 5 + stars.

Amazing new upscale hotel. Exactly what the area needed. Staff was extremely helpful. Great outside area for all ages. There are several quiet nook areas in the hotel were you can work, read, play chess/checkers or just relax. Our room had an area with floor to ceiling mirror and small workout area with weights, large screen TV, desk, plush linens on a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was spa like. The hotel has a large banquet room and a very accommodating staff that listened to our suggestions and needs, and went over everything step-by-step. We had nearly 200 very happy people in attendance, many of which stayed the night and were equally as impressed by their level of comfort and service at this hotel.

Recently was there for a 4 day business trip. Enjoyed the view of the south side of the hotel from my room and the brand new interior. Parking was complimentary during the stay. As Fyi, they don't do housekeeping everyday, it's something that's needs to be requested and you need to hold your key card at a certain angle to take the elevator upstairs, without getting stuck. Overall the ambience was great.
