It was good to have it open again. The only constructive criticism I have is having them and force their social distancing and mask wearing rules. There was a good number of people without a mask and who were not told either to put one on or leave the premises is the refused. Other than that it was a good experience and parking price is good. ????
Well. A lot can be said about the San Jose flea market. For starters, it’s a fun place to day drink, buy low quality food and just spend a few bucks here and there for novelty items.
That being said, if you’re a first timer coming here, it’s a perfect place to spend a day and not buy anything.
In the recent years, pricing has gone up substantially. Understandable but where once you could come get some cheap items quickly has gone away. But it’s great that you can come back and just have a fun time.
If you are in the vicinity of San Jose - please do yourself a favor and take time out to visit this place over the weekend.
You will find the atmosphere befitting a carnival with shoppers and vendors of diverse ethnicity's eager to seal deals. The place has very clean restrooms, ample sitting areas for people to eat the food procured from numerous vendors within the market.
You can find almost anything out here from vegetables, clothes, kitchen utensils to just about anything you can think of in between.
Though perhaps not as many fleas as prior years, its still a fun place to explore and find treasures. It is soon to be right next to the newest San Jose stop for BART. I saw entrances from BART right into the Flea Market. The station is not open yet. Hoping soon. Its a good transportation hub. The Flea Market has a good mix of used and new items and many things you may or may not need. Check it out.
