Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. Nothing but great experiences here. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
Great place to get pan dulce, champurrado, but the tomatoes seem to be under cooked. Although they are thick tomales
By far this bakery is this best San Jose has to offer, yes, you will contest and say I have or know a better one, maybe but I must admit, taste and price u cant beat this one, they offer other items such as cakes, jellos or jelley cups, fresh squeezed juices, tamales , stuffed bolios with cheese and jalapenos, great service ,however parking may be competitive.
Open early and stays open late. The bread is awesome and my coworkers love getting pastries in the morning. I also use this place for big events.
This is a delicious Mexican bakery with "THE" Best Tamales in San Jose. Expect to pay higher than anywhere else but for me, the tamale is rated by the Masa and these tamales are delicious. The Masa is moist and the tamales are packed. They are $3.20 each but well worth it as they are the biggest tamales I can find in San Jose. They have all the regular flavors-Chicken has a little hit spice--not much, Pork is spicy and they have cheese with Jalapeno which is good. Of course there is a large bakery as well and all the Pan Ducle looks and smells great. They are large helpings so be ready to have your eyes tickled and your stomach craving the flavors. The help doesn't speak much English but you can get by with some basic understood phrases.
