Ballroom Dancing with Lesley McIntosh

We had a wedding fast approaching in Scotland and didn’t think two people with 4 left feet would ever pull it off. Not only did Lesley help us choreograph our dance, learn our steps and memorize what to do…. She helped coach us on adding the flair that people would remember! Lesley was absolutely wonderful and patient with our group! We scheduled a private lesson with some friends just for a fun group date! (Would highly recommend). Lesley was prompt, flexible, and delightful to work with. She was not only a great teacher for us beginners, but was accommodating of our needs and schedules. She was very lively and encouraging!

We hired Lesley for wedding dance lessons, and she is the best. Lesley is an extremely competent dancer but also a wonderful, patient, and skilled teacher. When we're with Lesley, dancing is fun, not intimidating! She has a refreshing personality and pushes us to get better and do our best. She is easy to communicate with- both on the dance floor and when we're scheduling lessons.

Not only did Lesley help us put together the perfect wedding dance, but she's given us a hobby that we can continue as a married couple. We did about 8 dance lessons before our wedding, and now see Lesley every week for lessons. We have no learned 7 dances (!!!!!!!): night club 2 step, tango, cha cha, waltz, foxtrot, rhumba, and east coast single rhythm swing!

Lesley is so wonderful to work with!! She always gives you confidence and welcomes you with open arms, no matter what level of dancing you are at. We started as beginners and did not even really enjoy dancing at first - especially when it came to performing in front of other people! But Lesley never gave up on us and created a special choreographed dance for our big day that really reflected who were were as a couple.

As the weeks went by we really started looking forward to our dance lessons. They turned into a date night for us. We had so much fun with our dance lessons that I booked dance lessons with my dad. Then my husband and his mom booked dance lessons too..and then all of our parents signed up for group lessons!

Our dances really were the talk of the night. Our guests loved it and are still talking about it today. But not only did Lesley give us routines to show off at our wedding, she gave us skills that we can use for the rest of our lives! Lesley is an amazing instructor! She is very patient, encouraging and makes each class meeting fun. A friend and I decided to take lessons as part of our New Year's resolution, and the overall experience was more fun than I expected. Lesley helped choreographed a custom waltz routine for us and we learned the how to do the foxtrot as well. I've seen her work with other couples for their bride and groom first dance and she definitely makes everyone feel welcomed, comfortable and confident during their lessons. She is very professional and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in ballroom dancing.
