“I got PRK done here by Dr Sane and it worked out perfectly for me. I have no side effects (not even the common dry eye) and perfect vision (slightly better than 20/20, but not quite 20/15). I did tons of research on all types of procedures and risk factors, studies, etc. I read many reviews on here as well to help me make my decision, so now I am contributing back my own experience. This place uses Contoura Vision laser. They are more pricey probably for this reason. PRK + Contoura is the gold standard when you factor in both risks and quality of outcome. In my case I had to go with PRK because of my thin corneas, but I appreciate there are less risks for this procedure than for lasik. I still had to wear sunglasses most of the time outdoors to avoid late onset corneal haze, but only for the 6 months. The recovery was not painful for me. I only used the numbing drops for one of my eyes, however I've heard this varies a lot per person. Though the recovery is not fun because your vision is not great for several weeks and you have to put ton of drops. I did one eye at a time (1 week apart). This extends recovery time, but it is well worth it in my opinion. I was more confident because I knew if something went wrong, I'd still have my other eye intact. Few people know this, but the FDA actually recommends one eye at a time to reduce risks. On top of that, doing one eye at a time allowed me to continue working (desk job). Your vision is so bad at first that reading on a computer screen is too difficult, and would harm your recovery anyways. I popped one lens off of my glasses and put a no-pressure eye patch on top of my eye that just got operated. I hope this helps someone out there!”

“I always go to Pho 54 and notice this place with affordable men’s haircuts of $15 and decided to give this place a shot. I used to go to a place nearby my work and it was at least $35-$40. It was definitely getting to a point that it was too expensive for me so I gave this place a try as I had nothing to lose and could always wear a hat if anything. I met Mai and she is very kind and understanding on what kind of haircut you want. It also helps that I’m Vietnamese as well but she also speaks and understands English! I always get a low or mid fade with 1” on the sides and either leave the top or 5” on top as well depending the growth. She does fades and line ups for my regular cuts as those are my go to. She is caring and and makes the effort to make sure you’re getting the proper cut you asked for. My new go to place as it is an awesome price, close to my place and great person to go to! Their days and hours are pretty convenient as well. I usually call ahead to make sure I have an appointment with Mai as well.”
