The teachers seem to have a martial arts perspective, but even if you are not interested in that perspective (I'm not particularly) it gives a certain focus and emphasis to the teaching, and you can really see the layers of learning you can acquire if you stay with it. I have noticed not that many beginners make it all the way through (it takes 5-6 months continual attendance), but there are a core of experienced attendees, and any one of them can be your teacher on a night ... even if they aren't the designated teacher for the night they are happy to emport some of their "body wisdom".”
