We met lots of neighbors and some of them like Ron Hammer became very important to us. We never needed to call the Bonny Doon Fire & Rescue, but we were very glad they were close.”

“Paradise retreat is a very unique place. Great hospitality! Campsite is set and ready to go. No need to bring your tent or rv. Tania has it set up and ready when you get there. The only items that necessary to bring is clothes, food, and toiletries. The heated pool is awesome, as well as the hammocks. This place is peaceful, not packed like some of the Santa Cruz campgrounds. Can have campfires, propane only. Nice to wake up to a course of birds. Snoopy and Douglas (host cat and dog)are very friendly and loveable. The only drawback is the showers only privacy is curtains. This is going to be are usual summer camping in the summer It will be a summer ritual. Great for the whole family! Tania, Marshall, Douglas and Snoopy are awesome host!”
