(October 6, 2017, 8:23 pm)I was glad to have an opportunity to visit Dan’s grove on a recent trip to CA. It’s a great memorial to a great guy, and I enjoyed seeing the park he loved. Thanks to whoever put it on Google Maps.. I don’t think we would have found it otherwise. The walking directions lead right to the spot. The cell service is spotty up there, so be sure to figure out directions before you head up.

(June 17, 2017, 10:01 pm)Beautiful Grove in Castle Rock State Park. Not far from the Interpretive Shelter. Amazing trees, Rock formations and a sunlit field. Dedicated to the memory of our beloved friend Dan.
