“I absolutely loved my float experience at Be and Be WELL floatation center! I was already a believer in the healing power of a good bath, and this was basically the best baths I’ve ever taken. The huge amount of magnesium in the float tank can’t compare to throwing a few cups into the bathtub at home, and I am aware of the long list of benefits for keeping magnesium levels up with better mood and less body aches being the most commonly known. The location of the center is just beautiful as well, being in the wooded town of Ben Lomond with easy access to hiking or going to Santa Cruz after your float. The center itself is a lovely mountain home with clean facilities, friendly faces, all amenities for the float supplied to you, and a welcoming ambiance. Megan who facilitated my float was a very calming presence and explained everything to me before I got started as well as helped to recommend the best music, length of float, and other suggestions to get the most of the experience. The tank itself and the other technology used for the float is state of the art including underwater music to get you feeling relaxed once you enter the tank. I felt just like I do when I am very deep in meditation or waking from a dream, with the added benefit of feeling basically weightless! I highly recommend a float to anyone, but especially those who love a good bath, anyone with a lot of muscle and joint aches/pains, those feeling blue or anxious, those who enjoy meditation, and those who may struggle to get truly relaxed when they try to meditate at home.”

“I've been going to Ease Mountain since its inception, and it has grown like crazy--with good reason. Juko Holiday, the owner, has created an inclusive, welcoming community. Juko is definitely an old soul who inspires her students to bring their best to the mat. You will leave Ease Mountain feeling lighter and happier. Highly recommended. By the way, the apricot-colored rose is from the parking area, which is usually filled with beautiful flowers.”

“Do you really want to know about my dental problems? Probably not, so let's just say Dr. Creech is someone I would highly recommend. I have had a lot of issues with really bad dentists in this area (including one who dropped a crown down my throat. He then gave me gloves so I could go trough my bowel movements to find it.) It took me 2 years to find a decent dentist, but I finally did.”

“Saved my life, and I will always have a great fondness in my heart for the Ben Lomond Fellowship. Wonderful community of people in recovery, and they sure do know how to have FUN! A lot of people facing the prospect of getting clean and sober have one huge, stone cold fear in the pits of their stomachs, namely that once they give up their booze/drugs they will never have fun again. Well I am here to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth! I'll admit that the transition from drunkenness to recovery can be a rough ride, but once you get your sea legs and become a part of the community of people in recovery at the Ben Lomond Fellowship, the party never stops! THere is ALWAYS something going on at that fellowship! They love to party. They barbeque tri-tip at the fellowship, they have great big parties on all the long weekends and holidays. Lots of good times. So not only does the fun not end when you get clean and sober, the fun just BEGINS when you do it! I can't say enough good things about that fellowship. But I will say one more. About that "dingy" comment another reviewer made--the fellowship has brand new carpet and much of the old living room furniture has been replaced with nice new comfy stuff. Give 'er a look! :-)”
