“Speaking about our spot. The park has most amenities, but I didn't use the pool or laundry room. The roads and most spots are covered in large gravel (crunchy noise all night as cars move about, and don't even think about going barefoot!) Our picnic table hadn't been washed in ages, and there were no privacy barriers. At $140/ 2 nights, I think that's high. However after boondocking for a week it was great to have full hook-ups, and 5 minutes from our event made this park our choice.”

“In October we pulled into the site right across from the office/ laundry room for two nights. Beautifully set under the large palm tree! Loved our stay here. Babbling brook behind the RV, palm trees, peace and quiet! Just what we needed following our stay in noisy San Francisco! Prices were just a little steeper than we would have liked at $62/ night. Once the paving is done, it will be an oasis. Easy access to major routes, Napa Valley and Sacramento.”

“Lovely parks are a great place for kids & families to recreate, it's too bad that they risk running into that homophobic pig Vice-Mayor Mr Hickman who might pollute their young minds!”

“This park is a hidden gem. Basically a simple agility setup on an old baseball field. Usually has minimal traffic going through on sundays, so great for training with your dogs. Kiddie pools and a hose make it a great summer option for dogs.”

“Love it here! Make sure to bring a pop up for the beach! Very hot & no shade. Sand is blazing hot too! Had a great time!”

“Relaxing region with cooling soft breeze and very friendly park rangers. There's quite a lot of open land that are perfect to host gatherings/events on, unlike many other neighboring lakes/beaches that are more heavily populated with trees & bushes & unleveled terrain while condensing people to smaller tight designated areas. This one is pretty open and its layout is a lot like a mini version of Bodega Bay minus the gigantic rocks & slopes & different nature of residence(river-lake vs bay/coastal)”

“I love the mountain walk. It is so beautiful in the green of spring... mama cows with their calves share your landscape. Amazing old oak trees. Wild flowers. I love that vacaville sets aside these areas and you can walk/ hike there. Is not for the tender, injured... walks can be very hilly and the terrain challenging with winter hardened mud holes. Careful hikers will totally enjoy. The views are great. Makes me feel I've gotten away from it all and it's great to be alive :)”

“Love walking my dog out there & letting her run around. Its close to home. Only wish we could go down to the water too but it's all fenced in. Lots of ducks, geese & other birds, also frogs, lizards & snakes. Even coyotes, that usually just come out in the evenings/night. Occasionally see one in the day, out by the water (inside the fence), though they can get out onto the trail also. They won't bug you if you don't bug them. Almost a 2 mile walk around the whole trail. Great place to walk/jog, with or without your dog, or just bird watch. Best time to go there is in late winter early spring, though still great year round. Definitely recommend checking it out!”

“Fun park with a large play structure with all kinds of fun stuff. Fun place for kids with plenty of space. Tables and shade for the parents while the kids play. The park connects to great restaurants and just nice walking around. I did not see any restrooms or water fountains but I might have missed them. There were portapotties but I believe they were for the farmers market and an event going on.”

“My family and I love this park! Everyone is nice and friendly. Great park for everything except restrooms but that doesn't stop us from going just make sure you go potty before you leave the house. Mature trees provide shade and walking path great for running and all sorts of active life. Usual crowd of people makes the drive worth it. I definitely recommend this park to all walks of life.”
