  Bodega Head is my center of the universe. Once I'm dead I want my ashes blown out to sea here. Although, during Whale Watching season you'll get a few tourists here and there checking out the sights, you don't often get travelers wandering down to the beach itself... unless they're fishing.
  
  Make sure to bring a sweater and a blanket cause it gets cold out there. If you're lucky enough to catch it on a sunny day, make sure to wander around and explore the rocks. Often times You'll see some sea anemones and starfish.

  This was a great day hike. The trails could have been marked better. But it is a very casual hike

Bodega Head Trail is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Bodega Bay, California that features beautiful wild flowers We checked out the Bodega Head trail today. When we arrived we drove a little bit further until we hit a parking lot. There were quite a few people as it was a weekend.
