(July 26, 2018, 4:11 pm)My girlfriend and I have been in Petaluma for nine months, our time here is coming to an end and our shared regret is not coming to this fine bakery months ago.
We had a chocolate croissant and a sandwich with turkey, bacon, cheese, two sauces and on a specialty sourdough. The croissant was fresh and tasty but it was completely overshadowed by the sandwich. All of the ingredients blended together perfectly in a savory medley that was impressive itself, but what I want to focus on was the bread. That was some of the finest sourdough I have tasted, the moisture and texture perfectly complimented the rest of the sandwich. I’ve traveled a fair amount and I was genuinely impressed by how delicious and fresh the bread, and everything else, was. This will be our last stop on the way out of town.
