“Found the hotel by happenstance - stopped for a lunch at Layla and fell in love with the property. We were staying at another hotel but promptly checked out and checked in at MacArthur Place instead! The property was incredibly beautiful with plenty of winding garden paths between buildings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery with swings and fire pits. The room was similarly beautiful and well decorated. Everything in the hotel feels very deliberate and thoughtful, with a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Service was exceptional. Hands down one of our favorite parts about the visit here, will definitely come back!”

“This was my first visit to a quickly, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the employee. She answered all of my questions regarding their drinks, this was the great experience the drinks are amazing. Worth a visit! The only issue was finding the business after hours when the sun has set as they don't have a light near their business sign, but it's right next to the Sozo.”

“This is a very nice Resort. The rooms are very upscale with very nice carpeting along with glass and marble flooring in the bathroom. There is a fireplace in the room and a small refrigerator with some free drink amenities. There is a free bottle of wine included for your stay along with snacks too. The ice machine is under the stairs on the first floor so it is accessible but out of the way. There is a heated swimming pool located near the rooms for easy access. This hotel is located close to a number of well known wineries and some nice upscale dining establishments. It is also 1 block from highway 101 but you dont hear the highway from your room because of the intelligent design of the berm between the highway and the hotel. The landscaping of the hotel is impressive, it makes for a very nice view and great for walking around the grounds.”

“I’ve never been to this Starbucks before, and I really like the layout of the store. The drinks were good, there was plenty of room (never super duper crowded) and all the workers were very polite and friendly. First of all, let me start by saying this was just a minor inconvenience and it didn’t really effect my experience. When I was entering the Starbucks I couldn’t help noticing a bike sitting directly in front of the front entrance, blocking it so that one had to go around the side to enter the building. Not a huge problem, but just a heads-up that it may be most convenient to enter through the side entrance. The drinks were really good, but they accidentally added coffee to my friends drink. (Turns out its better with coffee, according to my friend). It takes a long time for your drink to come up, and the quality of my Frappuccino was a little less than other places I’ve gone to-nonetheless, it was still very good, and overall my experience was very pleasant. Nice people, not super crowded, pretty good drinks. Just be aware that this is in an area with many homeless people, so if that bothers you please pick a different location.”
