“My Mom has been here for the last eight months. I visit every day which may be the reason my Mom gets good care but she does get good care. The staff is long term and caring. The facility is clean. The most amazing thing to me I is the food. My Mom is did three different nursing home rehab stays at other facilities and the food at those places was much what you would expect. At Maywood Acres the food is actually good. There are rare days where it's what you would expect from a nursing home - but they are indeed rare days. My Mom does sometime have to wait a bit for a nurse to get there to help her with the bathroom. And she complains they take two hours to get her into bed after she requests to go to bed. So I didn't give five stars. But overall I feel more than comfortable with the care and love she receives there. Let me just say, when she went in she was almost eligible for hospice. Now she is no where near eligible! ”
