I searched for bike shops in the area as the sun was starting to go down and the thought of having to call a Lyft to pick me and my broken bike up was unsettling to say the least. It was about 15min till close and I spoke with the owner and told him about my situation, he assured me not to worry that they wouldn’t close and would help me out of a jam. Not only did they fix up what was broken he also didn’t charge me. For good karma I threw him a $20 anyways. Good customer service. I”

“Stopped by for a quick (and free) air refill for my back tire and was helped promptly and warmly by the nicest employee. They checked in on how my day was going and how my ride was. They asked several questions about my tire pressure preference before topping off both my tires. Super friendly and knowledgable. They also helped my friend pick out, try on, and purchase a new helmet and assisted with a military discount. Will return again for the customer service alone!”

“I was looking for an electric bike to purchase. I have been to many bike shops around Huntington Beach pricing different brands. Mike introduced himself and asked what I was interested in. I told him and he showed me the bikes he had in the store. He carries the brand Trek or Electra which Trek makes. Mike was very friendly and informative. He also has a wide variety of accessories to choose from. I’m currently satisfied with my pedal bike and bought a good amount of accessories from him. Degreaser, lube, cleaner, a seat, cell phone holder. I asked about servicing my bike and he was honest about a long time frame. He is solo so anyone interested in employment, I’m sure you can work a deal to help Mike out. I love local businesses and this place needs to stay.”

“It’s been a minute since I got my bike repaired here with Jason the owner but I’m heading there again to get some new things done and wanted to add a glowing review. My bike was pretty thrashed and after two visits to the box stores for repair neither could get it done. Jason took it in and in two days it was literally better than new! The cranks was so tight, brakes and gears worked perfectly. I originally had sticker shock when he gave me the estimate but after getting it back I would have paid double to have my beloved bike back in this mint condition.”

“Friendly staff, large choice of bikes. But beware of the quality of the work of the on site mechanics, and the competency of recommendations. We bought a bike and asked for a matching rear carrier. We got one that doesn't, in fact, fit, as it's too large and now prevents the saddle for lowering all the way. Also, it was shoddily fitted, with bent holders and not horizontal. Updated after the reply from the business: Thank you for the offer! I will come by on the weekend to get it corrected; will post update here when done. Updated after bringing the bike back to the store: Took 15 minutes without any wait time on a Sunday afternoon to get the rack fitted properly. See second picture.”

I brought in my new road bike to ask if he could put on the pedals and he kindly agreed and did not want to charge me anything so, I decided to give him a grateful tip + chocolates as a Thank You + decided to bring in my antique road bike for a tune-up, etc. It did need new parts, etc. So, because of Kyler's kindness I decided to give my business to El Camino over my usual Revolution in SB who is closer to my home but does not meet the 5star customer service + great work that I received at El Camino! Will the owner is great too! He overcharged me a bit when I came in to pick up my bike but immediately resolved the issue by agreeing on the overcharge and corrected it. My antique road bike now rides better than it did when it was new! Totally worth it!”

The owners of the shop have smartly infused BMW and Specialized products into beautifully staged showroom. Everyone is very professional, courteous, and welcoming with a friendly smile. Don't doubt their expertise on the bicycle end. They are an authorized Specialized dealer and have all the support and knowledge readily available. I also got to tour the service area and they have everything and then some more to work/assemble the Turbo Levos. “This place is the epitome of what a dealership is supposed to be. From the moment I inquired about a motorcycle being available, to when I had questions, to when I went in and test rode the 1st time Amy and her staff have been absolutely fantastic. This place is a family run and operated dealership. They have ties to all the brands that they sell and they're knowledgeable about the bikes that are on their floor. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave they are going to treat you as a customer should be treated with respect and kindness and they're gonna pay attention to you and make sure that you feel comfortable with everything that you're doing and you're not gonna be forced into any decisions. Upon buying my bike from them they took me around and introduced me to all their staff so I was comfortable with who was there, who was going to be expected to be there, and who can help me. Then when I had my 1st small issue, They immediately reassured me that it would be handled or they would even replace my motorcycle to make sure that I had the best experience possible. I'm 38 now and I have had multiple vehicles from multiple dealerships and I really can't rave enough about how amazing they treat their customers in comparison to all the other dealerships that I've been to in the Bay area. “I had been holding off on purchasing a new bike until just recently. I went to big Dave’s bikes with my son. They happened to be having a year end sale on all bikes. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and didn’t try to sell me the most expensive bike in the shop. I purchased a Trek bike and couldn’t be happier. “Huge shout out to the crew at Pacos! They really delivered when needed. I had a minor repair that took about 30 minutes on my mt bike. Other shops in Truckee, told me to come back in a few days or make an appointment as they were too busy (I get it, staffing shortages, holiday weekend, Truckee is busy). Pacos on the other hand, fixed it the same afternoon so that I did not need to miss a few days of riding. To make things even better, they offered me a beer while I waited and I talked about bike trails and I shared riding stories with some of the staff. This deserves highly recommended in my book! We have a lot of bike shops in Truckee, many are very good and provide good service but being told to wait a few days for a 30-minute repair sucks.”
