“Prior to making the decision to purchase my Trek Domane AL 5 Disc - 2022, I researched extensively for a quality Bay Area cycling shop. “I had such an amazing experience with Jax Bicycle Center due to the exemplary customer service I received from the manager Octavio (OC). He was extremely professional as well as the staff. My partner brought in her cruiser bike and it was beat up pretty badly, and they transformed her bike into nearly a new bicycle. Initially, the bike was restored with many new parts and looked for the most part new. The only thing that I was not satisfied with was the rust on the front tire. I took it back to Jax Bicycle Center and explained the issue to the manager Octavio and he replaced the front wheel free of charge due to my dissatisfaction. Due to his above and beyond customer service I will always refer people to his bike shop. Thank you so much again for making my partner happy with repairing her bike! You have no idea how happy we both are that we can finally ride bikes together!”

“This man is amazing. I have a 1989 Schwinn Roadbike I bought in NorCal in 2010 as an undergrad and adore my bike. After being run over by a car in 2017 , my front wheel, fork, handle bar, pedals and chain ring were unusable. While all other bike shops told me to give up on my beloved bike, Moises said it would be no problem and brought my bicycle back to life. He understood the bike is special to me and replaced all the damaged components with era equivalent pieces and to this day takes extremely good care of my bike. In order to accommodate for an electric wheel I added to my bicycle, he ensured that I have a steel fork strong enough for the torque. Bring your bike here. It is a small business and might lack a website or even proper recording of bike prices but Moises has been in the area for decades and works for the people of the neighborhood. Any gentrifiers that distrust him should know that they are the reason he had to move from Echo Park and should give Moises a chance as oppose to criticizing him. It was so unique to be able to use my own bike for spin workout. Seeing my data on the screen was very nice to motivate myself. “Incredible service and AMAZING prices. The shop is decorated with bycicle pieces and piles of tubes as a diverse set of tires hang from the cieling. Many durable and reasonably bikes for sale as well! My experiences here have always been positive. There is no replacing this place! Last month I tried a different shop and was astonished to find they wanted to charge me $80 to look at my bike without including the pieces needing replacing or. I took it over to DC, and they charged me $25, including the pieces! Whereas the other place wanted to wait a whole week until they could even look at my bike, DC was super fast, friendly, and knowledgeable on all things bike related. Definitely take your bike here if you need a quick fix!”

“In reading many of the previous reviews below, they all have same keywords in common...great customer service, friendly and helpful. Reason being it's because it's true if not an understatement. Short story long, I really needed my bike fixed ASAP due to gears and brake levers not working. Called several bike shops in and around the Orange county/ Newport Beach area and got nowhere. Until I finally called Newport cruisers and spoke with Daniel. Explained to him my situation and wanted to see if at the very least I might be pointed the right direction or given some advice. He told me to go ahead and bring the bike over and he'll take a look at it. I finally arrived at the shop 30 minutes before they closed expecting at the very most a solid lead or suggestion or maybe an appointment I can make leaving me to figure out what to do regarding getting to work the next morning. Daniel who answered the phone and was the only one working at the shop being that they were closing took the time to not only look at my bike but repaired what was wrong with it on the spot there with such a good attitude and sincerity and just genuine good character that it was beyond refreshing to see. With over 20 years of hospitality management & and customer service experience myself I know how to spot the good & the bad apples and not to sound like a tool but I am rarely super impressed. Yes I appreciate the fact that my bike was and is like brand new and I was able to get to work on time that following morning but more importantly Daniel front Newport Cruisers has such a good attitude when most people would have not even given me the time of day certainly not when it's 30 minutes before closing. Was beyond reasonable when it came to charging me and did such an outstanding professional job with such kindness and customer service excellence I had to post this rambling five star review. Do yourself a favor and go to Newport cruisers Some places deserve your business and this is such the place.”
