“Authentic Italian Bakery! How did I miss this place?! So unassuming, hole in the wall bakery tucked in the corner of a shopping plaza. The pictures speak for themselves. Delicious and authentic. Don't come here expecting American style pastries or sandwiches. It's amazing and the quality is there! I've been to Italy, husband is from France so his expectations are always high when it's an European bakery. He loved the Italian sandwich and Italian ham especially. As for the prices, it's on par with the quality, did I hear imported Italian flour?! Yes. Italian family owned bakery where you hear them speaking Italian? Yes. Cute Italian mom and dad hanging out in the bakery? Yes. You can't get more authentic than that. My new favorite local bakery.”

“We are in LOVE and truly obsessed with this delicious breakfast and lunch place on the outside of the Hilton Garden Inn. The food has been mouthwatering. Deserves a crowd daily. We've eaten breakfast here the last few mornings and everything has been the best food we've ever had. Cute little outdoor patio with amazing San Diego weather. Service fantastic and everyone is so friendly. We are sitting here now eating avocado toast and the English muffin sandwich and saying how this is the best food we have ever eaten. Great smoothies, too. Super sad to leave. Will be coming back to this hidden San Doego gem. IF you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn this is definitely where you should be eating breakfast. “While searching for coffee, Cafe Pruvia popped up and I’m glad it did. It's a cute shop located in a very busy shopping center in Gardena. It felt like a study room with lots of people studying together on their computers and enjoying a yummy drink. It reminded me of when I was in college studying in the library. Cafe Pruvia offers coffee, lattes, and tea lattes. I went with an iced vanilla latte. Not only did I really enjoy the drink, but I also loved the cup that it was in. I know that's weird, but I just liked the sturdiness of the cup and the shape of it. Hubby and I enjoyed our coffee so much, that we turned around and ordered another drink. This time, we tried their swirled whipped cream matcha drink. That drink was also very good! I loved the way it looked in the cup and I love the way it tasted! Overall, Cafe Pruvia was a success! Amazing drinks, great customer service, and good vibes.”

So light, healthy, and fresh, everything tasted homemade and fluffy but also crisp and natural, left a great taste in the mouth and a weightlessly bouncy belly, the tea was exquisitely spiced with exiting exotic flavors, wish more foods had character like this while being friendly to the diet! The pictures are of the Ethiopian breakfast and California croissant, we also had some decadent yet light baklava and sambusa to-go as well! The drinks were an Ethiopian iced tea which was full of life and flavor without being sugary and a hot chai latte which was comfortingly sweet and spicy. It was a quiet cafe-ambience atmosphere with gorgeous lighting and cool location, perfect for brunch! The staff were all so nice and came to check in on us and inspire us with insight in their beautiful culture! We will be coming back 😋”

However, this location luckily has 10 tables with ample seating (2-4 chairs per table) and a booth with 2 tables along the wall. There are at least 10 charging outlets available. This one was not very busy. Quality of drinks are good. IMO, it is still not as nice as some of the other independent Starbucks locations, with potentially cheaper furniture/design and style pieces.”

They also carry several delicious-sounding dishes like popcorn chicken or shrimp, fried rice, and bowl meals. It's a great place to relax, have some lunch and order a refreshing and specially made drink. One of my favorites is Iced Thai tea, which falls under the heading of milk teas. “I used to get Scooters Coffee at this location, and noticed that someone new had moved in so I wanted to try them out and WOWWWWOWOW they did not disappoint!!! I got an iced milk tea (with oat milk) in the Lavender Cinnamon Cream flavor and I do not think I have ever consumed a drink faster. I went back a few days later with my husband and got it again (it was just as delicious as the first time) and he got an iced brown sugar latte that I had a sip of and it was amazing!”

The ginger ginseng tea is good, but not enough ginger flavor. Prices are fair. The waffle is good. But what really stands out is their customer service. Very nice staff. They also have art on their walls for sale from the artist.”
