“I was driving home from San Jose to Sacramento. I got there right as they were closing. The young lady was walking to the door to lock it. She invited me in made me a coffee and a sandwich as they were breaking everything down and cleaning it. They were still happy to serve me and very friendly. “This is actually called The Local Cup and is definitely a local hang out. They have a few seats in and out. They have coffee beans for sale and delicious looking pastries. Sadly, the coffee cake was extremely dry. They offer espresso drinks and tea. My latte was tasty and smooth. It even had a leaf as decoration. It is a nice place to stop and enjoy a cup of coffee and some local gossip.”

“It's a piece of cake at 85 Degrees Bakery. I really like the cakes here and pastries. I like sweets but as I've gotten older, I haven't been able to tolerate too much sweets. The pastries here are just the right amount of sweet. They don't taste too sugary and even though they might be bland it's good for those who can't eat super sweet foods. The place has its own parking lot and it's clean. There's tables and chairs to enjoy your pastry and something to drink. The staff is friendly and are quick to take your order. There's tongs and trays available so you can select your pastries. I got a chocolate bun with cream cheese. It didn't taste burnt or hard. It was soft with a faint taste of chocolate and it wasn't too sweet. I know I will keep coming here to try the other pastries.”
