“Pull pork burger was deliciously greasy. Just the thing I wanted after a nice long hike at angel island. Caution it might be a bit too greasy for some people but it was great. Their nacho and Frito dishes come in huge portions too. Great for sharing with friends unless you are really hungry. Price is similar to that of an eatery around the pier. Not as pricey as I expected for this being the only cafe on the island. Minus one star for all the flies at the indoor sitting areas though.”

“Zuma Beach is our favorite location on the coast from Marina Del Rey to Malibu. Right, it costs $15 in weekend and $8 during work week... but this parking in a hundred yards from your umbrella, which is in a hundred feet from the ocean :) that’s why it always happened, when all fruits and snacks are done, and your kiddos are hungry after those cool waves, you go to the affiliate of Zuma Beach Cafe, located in front of lifeguard tower 8, and grab some fast food, like burger or hotdog and fries, or cold smoothie, or an ice cream... it is always on time and for fair price. Thank you guys :)”

“At the risk of revealing a best-kept secret, I am putting in a plug for one of my top faves in Laguna. This is the place the locals eat. The food is great and reasonably priced. The other reviews below do a great job of describing it and I would add that there is a free parking lot in the back if you are early/brave/lucky. It has at least a dozen spaces and despite their request for local construction workers to not park there, is usually filled with pickup trucks. The burgers are on par with your best burgers anywhere. The breakfasts are dependable and tasty. The atmosphere is old Laguna. Check egos at the door and don't forget to tip the hard-working wait-people. Remember, this is breakfast and lunch only, closing by early afternoon. Weekends, you can expect a wait. I had requested soft bacon but received bacon so well done it shattered when you touched it, so that's the reason I left off a star. I would go back.”
