“My wife and I were walking around Downtown Orange. We have gone to The Pie Hole before, but we have gotten their savory pies. We just had lunch, and we were interested in some dessert. I had the Mexican Chocolate Pie with the espresso topping, and my wife had the Apple Crumble Pie. Both tasted excellent. My slice was definitely very thick. I had no issues with the taste of either pie, but I thought $7.00 a slice was too expensive for the size of it. It is still worth visiting again when I am in Downtown Orange.”

“Love this place. The eclairs are really great. It’s a really nice shoe pastry, flakey but never soggy. The creme patisserie is very nice. A hint of citrus zest in the custard makes it excellent. Of course there are lots of other tasty treats made fresh and are available. I’m pretty sure there is something here for everyone. I have to say that the staff are super friendly and professional. Every time we come in the staff are pleasantly chatting with the customers. Not in a obnoxious way but very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like a regular your first time. “A great place to meet, hang out with your friends and catch up on life. They have spacious indoor sitting and out door patio for big group meetings. Rosebud serves great coffees and teas. The owner Dan told me that he trains each barista to differentiate each types of coffee by smell. This results in fantastic coffee in each cup. Not only coffee and teas are good here, the pastries are mesmerizing too. I loved their almond croissant where they added chocolate in the almond paste fillings resulting creamy and tasty croissant. They have a few of pastries on display which I don’t recognize. I guess they invented their own. Besides coffee and pastries, Rosebud also has a microbrewery on site. But no beers served in the morning. So I didn’t have a chance to taste their beer. We shall come back in an after to taste their beer. They do have plenty of parking in the back and on the street. It’s ideal for big group gathering.”

“Beach Break Cafe We ordered the omelette and chili-size burger. Even though we have been in the U.S. for several years, we are shocked at the size of the meal. That plate of potatoes is just a side came with the omelette. Also that big bowl of soup was supposed to be a cup of soup came with my burger!!! I like the chili-size burger a lot. It looked weird （to me 😆) but tasted really good. Omelette was kind of so so. Next time we will try something different!”

“The employees are great, but this Starbucks is unfortunate in that the parking lot entries and exits to the roads are difficult. Both of the roadways are one-way exits which require u turns. In addition, one of the entryways is narrow and not really two-cars wide, so people often drive in the dirt on one side. However, it’s incredibly nice to have a spot to grab coffee in that area.”

But one key plus of this specific Fantastic Cafe place for me is the manner of workers. Fantastic Cafe workers are so nice, warm welcoming, and patient that it’s hard not to think positive about the whole chain. If you are with toddlers, they go extra miles, let you choose off-menu a la carte, and even suggest variations. They make sure that they can make the food that babies will eat!!! In terms of food, obviously I always eat double cheeseburger combo. But I do see a lot of people eat chili verde dinner plate as well :) Lastly, if you are coming from north of Gaffey street, make sure you turn on the second right into the parking lot. The first one is exit only, where drive thru cars come out.”
