“Have lived here as a long term camper. The experience has been wonderful. I'd recommend giving this place a shot. Great atmosphere, people, surroundings, location, management, and locals who do care about everyone. It is a family! Best way to explain it. It's been a wonderful experience! Ask for the owner by name! Wade!! :) Peace~ Rob Forgette”

“Beautiful! Sadly for me, just the trek to the campsite from the parking lot kicked my butt!”

“Nice spot with a fire pit and running water from a pipe, though the water is not always running. It's actually decently foresty for being so close to Los Angeles. It's around 5 or 6 miles from the trailhead with some up and down.”

“Nice little campground and picnic area way up there, with an easy short hike to the falls. It rained a lot before we were there so there was water overrunning the trail, and the campground entrance, but we managed it. Nice place to relax.”

“The campground as a whole is great. They have bathrooms, showers, and every campsite has a fire pit. However, campsite #87 SUCKS! it is really small and has a slope to it. So if you fall at night you might roll down the little hillside. Other than that, the place is awesome.”

“Hidden gem, 20 mins from my house, large spots, clean RR, we camped at the lakeside campground in the back water and electricity only, it was quiet, peaceful. Didn't catch anything but it was nice and relaxing, saw a few skunks later at night while relaxing at campfire. We will be back”

“Beautiful hike or bicycle ride to Coast Camp at the Point Reyes National Seashore. Park at the hostel for either the 2 mi hike or 3 mile bike ride. Although just a few sights have distant ocean views, the lovely sound of the waves on the shore can be heard from all campsites. Enclosed pit toilets, picnic table, small raised cooking grill, metal bear box, and accessible potable running water are all closeby. Bring steel wool to stuff in holes in food locker to keep mice out.”

“Great camping spot. We stayed in number 3. Number one is the only one that I would avoid. It's practically right on the trail.”

“Solitude and clean air made up for the 25 degree early morning temp. Very clean. Toilets adequate. Cold camping requirement meant no wood burning so contact forest service to confirm fire restrictions before making the trip.”

“A little expensive but great View and we had a super nice camphost.”

“Nice place during the winter... tons of snow and places to go hiking... you can home all the way to the top of the mountains if you find the trail”
