“Been attending Unite for over 2 years with my husband and 2 young boys. We are very grateful that we have a place to build community in Pasadena ( where both my husband and I work, we live in Glendale.) Pasadena has always been a second home to me, since it is where I started my business over 20 yrs. ago and I love that Unite really invests in the community. But what really has drawn and kept me at Unite is I feel God's presence on Sunday morning there. The worship and message always just seem to be what I need to hear that a.m and the church really focuses on bringing you closer to God and others. The importance of creating community with like minds, your faith in Christ and this church will really help you grow as a Christian. They have child care which is a bonus for me with 2 small children and also have small groups outside the church which my husband and I just started and we are excited for how God and Unite church will help us grow closer in our walk with God. I encourage you to visit this church for yourself!”

“I have been a member of a few churches in the southern California area in my short life, from Prespitarian, Friends (Quaker), several Calvery Chapel(Baptist), and some of the New age like Crosspoint and The Rock. Never have I felt more seen, supported, included or needed. This church brings the right mix for my Wife and myself, of traditional worship, progressive values and thoughtfull comunity. Within a few weeks of entering the building, we where ready to join in membership with this loving community. We fell for the beauty of the building, but where fully ensnared by the love we felt eminating from the congregation. We can be known as "The Gay church" by some who see our Pride banners on the Euclid side, and I have repaired a fair amount of vandalism likely steming from that. We stand firm in our conviction, we are proud of who we embrace and support, we stand strong with each other and welcome our neighbor to our arms. For when asked by the Pharisee what was the most important commandment, Jesus said to love your God, and to love your neighbor. Come see the beauty of this Historic Church, come and whitness how truely beautiful a family in Christ can be.”

“Praise the lord and pass the ammunition. I sing in the worship band at Mt. Carmel. it has changed my life. The people are super friendly and welcoming. You can feel the Lord's presence there when you walk in the front doors. Mt. Carmel is a non-denominal church that is Kern County`s oldest still continually running church. It's been there, Glorifying God since the 1800`s. I am truly blessed to be a member. Bible study on Wednesdays. Catch Pastor Harrell Knox`s sermons on Sunday mornings at 10:30.”

“I visited Grace Anglican online; there's a wonderful feeling of community here, and the liturgy is easily understood, even by newcomers. Fr. Bill offers clear insight of the readings in his sermon; he has a powerful singing voice that easily draws the congregation into singing along throughout the service. All-in-all, this is a place where you can feel even closer to Jesus!”

“I went last Sunday for the first time to this church, and they were so welcoming it was hard to believe. I sat across from The Minister's Wife let's see if the nicest lady you would want to meet. It's a small church not a lot of people were there but they have the services if the house was packed. Pastor Morris is the one that I spoke with the day or two before when I went by and he was most accommodating when it came to my scooter. The music was wonderful and the singing even better. If you're looking for a home Church try this little church see what you think. I highly recommend it because the word of the Lord is preached here, and the people are the church and even though there were only a few people there because of summer vacation and such, they were just phenomenal when it came to making a person feel right at home in their Church. Thank you Pastor Morris & Mrs Morris and also a big thank you to Ariel who was singing and leading us in song. Your music carried me through the week. God bless”
