“'m actually a little sad that Valero's is gone and has been replaced by Chevron. I kind of label Chevron's as the big 3 (Shell and 76), but I always thought Valero to be a under the radar less expensive equivalent. Anyhow Converting to Chevron actually took quite a bit of time and work. It wasn't simply a rebranding, it was months of construction and building, but man does it look spanking new. Fresh paint, blacktop, pumps, lines, but he crazy slope from the houses is still a bit of a nuisance when you drive a Nissan Waltima like me. I think it's just in my head, but you do pay for that premium name of Chevron, I'm getting Valero in comparably priced areas for 8 cents cheaper, now I'm not sure it's worth the supposed upgrade, but I love the location, can get off and on the freeway in minimal effort as opposed to stations north and south of here off exits when going Northbound. Again it's not a convenience store so limited everything except drinks, a healthy supply, just not selection.”

“Did a family birthday dinner party here on 10/30 and we had the BEST WAITRESS. She had great customer service. When we arrived it was just us and as the evening went on the restaurant seemed to fill..... I didn't see her have any help, so we assume she was doing ALL the tables ALONE, and felt she managed her tables still like a pro! I didn't see anyone go without. Food was reasonably prices, LOVED my hot open faced roast beef. Everyone enjoyed there food. Dessert was GREAT, but who doesn't LOVE ice cream!! It was my first time, but not for the others.... definitely on the must go again list!”

“Great campground, beautiful spot with trees for shade. The beach is so lovely. Amenities are pretty clean. There is only service near the front of the campground so get a spot up there if you need to use your phone. Hike and bike in spots are super secluded from the bustle of the main campground. Please see attached photo for restrictions now in place for this spot though. And a heads up that hike and bike in are $10 per person. Bring your own firewood as it’s expensive at the store!”
