“My granny had open heart surgery here and everything went well. The hospital is a little out of date with the decor. Feels like it has not been renovated in centuries. The staff here are nice and well trained. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.”

“I went to this facility about 3 years ago stayed there for 3 days and these reviews are exaggerated a bit lol The staff were very sweet and caring but they did not play! They wanted to make sure everybody got the attention that was needed. Never where they were rude or disrespectful they just had order. When I was admitted it had at least 15 patients and we would either lose some (they would go home) or new ones every day. The patients there did have real mental problems. Seeing and knowing that I quickly started to appreciate the way of life more. Basically knowing that my situation could be worse enlightened me a bit. I was put on antidepressants and I don't recommend them whatsoever. They made me feel lightheaded but everybody is different. They would make me wake up in the middle of the night to take my vitals and after that I would go right back to sleep. I made cool relationships with the patients and I even had a roommate that was 13 meanwhile I was 15. They are just like regular people and noticing that I began to have a bigger heart for people. We were all in that facility for a variety of reasons but we all had one thing in common to be put in there. I’m not gonna front like it was heaven going there, It is almost like a nut house but what do you expect? You go there for treatment, it's not gonna be fun all the time. The pictures are exactly what you should look forward to. The food was A M A Z I N G ( Ranch fries 10/10 ). The boys and girls are separate (thank god) but that doesn't keep you from interacting with them. I don't know about now but when I went there I did not keep up with school and I didn't get to contact anybody besides my immediate family. When you wanted to call somebody their number had to be on file. Whoever helped admit you into this place would put whoever numbers on that file. One thing that caused me to write this review was the fact that I actually would consider working for this place. The nurses on the floor were amazing except I feel they could have interacted with the patients a bit more. I was completely fine without them being in my face as much but you could feel that some patients needed a hand sometimes. I am now stable and would love to work in a facility ( i have no idea if I should be confident in saying “love” ) my stay was an eye opener and I would like to be able to help somebody struggling mentally because I know what it's like. Thanks for reading my review and if you so happen to have a situation happen for you to be admitted, please know it will be a breeze..it will be over before you know it and know your worth, you are important!!”
