“This is a Charming little bed and breakfast, hidden at the intersection of Market, Church, and 14th Streets. It's barely visible from the street, a single orange door is the entrance. A long stairway leaves you up into the building, which has rooms on the second and third floor. It's a converted old hotel, but it's very clean and cozy. I stayed in a single room with a double bed, it just had a bed, sink, TV and closet. I just needed a place to crash for my stay so it was perfectly acceptable, clean and quiet. Showers and water closets are across the hall, all clean and nicely appointed. And breakfast is served in the kitchen every morning. A nice collection of granolas, fresh fruit, tea, and bread. When I called ahead to tell them that I might be arriving early, they assured me my room was already ready, and I felt very welcomed. Public transit is literally right outside the door. I highly recommend this place as a good spot to crash when you're visiting the city.”

Some rooms have bathrooms for a little extra. The owner and his wife were so nice and professional. Very welcoming and took care of all our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again. Thank you Garden Hotel for taking good care of us during our stay.”

“We absolutely love Lake Hemet!! We have stayed 3 years in a row with completely unique incredible experiences!! What a treat to go back to our fave site and have the Lake at our doorstep!! Unbelievable how gorgeous and huge the Lake is now!! My Son N Law and Grandson fished all 3 days right at site and we were treated with the best fish dinners!! We are so grateful as the bathroom is so clean and accessible! We have rented boats and really enjoyed our time on the lake- We swam for a while and enjoyed every second ! “Great value for the price. Cheaper than a Motel 6 or Quality Inn but definitely a better deal. The water took a good 10-15 to heat up, but it did get warm. One side of my bed was painful to sleep on, but the the other side felt comfy as a cloud. The fan unit in my room was broken, but the absence of weather stripping under the door allowed for the fresh air I needed. I didn’t find any sort of dirt, hair, or filth like I’ve seen on my last few cheap motel visits to other places. Other customers in the parking lot seemed nice and I didn’t deal with any tweakers or negative personalities. Owner was friendly and very helpful.”

“Cute and quiet campground with flushable toilets and warm showers. Some campsites are a bot close to each other and have no privacy at all. Very clean and well taken care of campground which also has cabins. The only problem is that the road is right next to the campsites. The cars cause noise throughout the day and night.”

Saluti Cellars

“Northern CA wine aficionados will know how hard it is to get a good Barbera out of Napa, Sonoma, Livermore -- but the great news is SALUTI has nailed it! My daughter, sommelier-in-training, says Saluti's Barbera was the best she's ever tasted. She's scraping the Livermore dust off her feet and heading up to Somerset this weekend for a full tasting extravaganza. Not only is the Saluti tasting room beautifully appointed and rustic, not only are Tina and Randy welcoming, engaging and delightful, not only are the wines divine, but the overall experience is a slice of heaven. The scenic drive through Somerset, swirling through towering sugar pine forests, majestic as it is, does not prepare one for the sheer beauty of the descent on a perfectly paved broad driveway into the 250-acre canyon paradise which is Saluti Canyons. So stunning is the the Winery House and Bed & Breakfast architecture that I fully expected Kevin Costner and the Yellowstone cast to appear any moment. Hiking? Bocci ball, horseshoes? Wonderfully manicured gardens, charming patio seating, sloping vineyards, sprawling green lawns, scenic duck pond....Can I just move in? Strolling around the grounds and marveling at the wedding pavilion, I can understand why so many rave reviews for Saluti are from couples who celebrated their vows on these grounds. I will recommend cancelling any contracts you might have and rescheduling your event here.”
