There is poison oak all over the place. Before you go, familiarize yourself with what poison oak looks like and avoid it at all costs. I've been pretty miserable since my trip.”

“I’ve lived in this +55 Park for 6 years. It is my home. Nice community. Quiet, as many still work. There’s a communal 70s vibe that defines the clubhouse with complete kitchen,games room, library, outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi for 15. There’s a billiards room and never used, recently maintained shuffleboard courts. informal groups meet for various social activities like cards, games, book club, bingo.”

“I've stayed at this hotel twice the last few months and honestly, this place is great. Both times was with bigger groups and event arrangements which always puts extra pressure on the staff and restaurant to perform. It was two great stays and both service and food was great. There are a lot of things that I like to say I appreciated, the pool area I one, the gym was great, close to the beach, and the beds made it feel like you slept on clouds (not kidding you). Thank you for a great visit!”

“Great central location for Ventura and Santa Barbara area , approx 25 miles from Santa Barbara , our room was nice but we wish we had a view of the sea, when we went out our back door we had a view of the back boats that was interesting . Very windy a few days , but we still kept busy main road outside the hotel they where working on and it was a maze. Harbor Village real close by and the Channel Island tourist info close by too.”

“Great resort. Close to Mission Bay, Sea World and several restaurants. Rooms are remodeled and comfortable. I recommend staying at the villas. Only issue they have is the parking. Came back tot he resort late one night and had to park on the other side and walk about 10 minutes to get to my room.”

“Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice and maintained units. However, the walls are thin and you can hear people talking. If you're checked in a lower floor, expect loud thumps from people walking, jumping and door slamming from the floors above. Otherwise, I would stay here again for another week or so. Restaurants are nearby and minutes away from downtown San Diego.”

“This Holiday Inn Express was a place. I enjoyed the fact that parking was under the hotel, it gave a sense of parking security. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was large and comfortable. I was able to spread out. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. I left too early for the morning breakfast. Check out was quick and easy.”

“This is a private Military park. It's super clean, with full hook ups, in good working condition. Great private beach, although it's littered with SHARP oyster shells. My son ended up in the ER and needed 7 stitches from playing barefoot. So, wear shoes in the sand/muck. Most of the RVers who visit here are quiet and polite. good cheap laundry. Only downside is no place for the kids to play.”

“This place was amazing. Sure you have to run out into the hall for your shower or to use the bathroom, and yeah I could hear everything outside. But you're paying basically nothing, so get over it! The staff is AWESOME!! the housekeepers were great, the front desk was super friendly and nice. I loved it! I stayed here for a week while trying to find a permanent apartment, and I felt like I was at home, yet still had a hotel feeling to it.”

“I was very impressed with the size of the standard rooms. The garden is absolutely beautiful and I was able to enjoy it with my room that had a view. Accommodations were very clean, and the staff was very flexible in meeting our needs. My only concern is the very expensive additional parking fee. This should be included and sours the experience when it isn’t. Nickel and dime is best left to the value chains, not premium brands.”

“Overall a very nice hotel. I would consider this Marriott 3.5 Stars and overall caliber of hotel. The coffee station was not stopped very well as they didn't provide any cups and there wasn't any free water in the rooms. other than that the club lounge is amazing and has its own omelette station. I would highly recommend if you're a traveler staying at this hotel. If you like Starbucks it's a 7 minute walk.”
