“Really beautiful place for camping, camp host is very nice and the bathrooms are always clean. Actually 5 star for cleanness, camp host and location. I am only giving 4 stars because camp grounds are not even and it's little difficult to find flat ground for setting up tents. Over all very happy with our experience. We were a group of 24 and we had booked 3 sites”

“A nice, quiet, and totally amazing place to stay. The representative-Ray was very kind, experienced and helpful. We stayed there 1 night but definitely will come back. A very reasonable price for a day or more stay. Ray was very accommodating and understanding, checking all the appliances. The place itself is very clean, next to a wooded area about half a mile away from the main road. At night, it was quiet and incredibly relaxing. They have heat which we didn’t use as the blanket was very warm and cozy. They do have a fully stacked kitchen, so all you need to bring is a few groceries if cooking in is what you want. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family and I will definitely be returning here on my next visit to Big Bear! Thank you, Ray.”

“We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was very clean and every interaction with the staff was positive. Even when passing in the hallway, they had genuine smiles and a friendly greeting, and I thought that they must enjoy working there. I contacted the front desk about 2 maintenance issues (loose toilet seat and leaking dishwasher) as well as a request for fresh towels. Every request was attended to in under 30 minutes. Our unit had a 1 separate bedroom and 2 full baths. This was a great layout as our son was with us and using the sofa bed. The kitchen is small but well supplied with dishes, cookware, etc. The location across from the Fairgrounds makes traffic very busy on Fair days, and we did plan our outings around that. If you are a good walker you can get to coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach on foot.”

“We love to visit Venice Beach. The former hotel we used to stay at closed down. But were so happy to find that Danielle now works her. We absolutely love her. She is so amazing and made our experience top notch. The room was adorable, very cozy and clean. The location was extremely convenient and even had parking available. We have now found our hotel to stay at every time we visit.”

“I haven't stayed here yet, but definitely will in the future. I rated this Kernville gem 5 stars because the owners or person handling this gorgeous home outdid their selves showing vast amounts of lovely detailed photos that really capture the entire place. All the property details, along with the areas points of interests, totaled with all the included amenities make this a dream vacation destination. Wonderful luxury home indeed.”

“There are so many great benefits to staying at these condos in San Clemente, so it's truly hard to know where to start. My review is in two parts: Tangibles and less tangibles... Intangibles: We have stayed with these hosts three times, and what is hard to communicate is the purposeful and generous way in which these hosts offer these spaces to their guests. I could spend a lot of time here with such examples. I have to believe that their dedication is owed to more than being a business owner, but a passion- this is very rare find. They think about every need and seemingly anticipate every pleasure with wonderful and unexpected surprises of foods and drink. It is hard for us not only to stay anywhere other than here when we visit San Clemente, but to even travel anywhere BUT here. Perfect. On location: the condos are in an excellent location and many of the condos have beautiful views, are minutes walk from the beach and pier, and which is important for our family traveling with a young child. Comfort: the condos are extremely comfortable. The owners have invested in things that often are not invested in like good quality mattresses. I have never spent time at any vacation rental that is more equipped than here both inside the condos as well as equipment for adventuring, outside. this means we don't need to pack the 'kitchen sink.' The condos are very clean and well maintained. It is extremely family friendly and pet friendly Safety: the area feels extremely safe Parking and AC available, and washer/ dryer available onsite which can be hard to find.”

“OMG! What a wonderful Little gym of a walking distance to Alameda Beach. The swimming pool is cold as Dickens and still it warms up from natural sunlight it seems. Restaurant super close by super nice area. Give it a 2-3cleanliness but that's mostly the carpets in the hallway need some good resolve carpet cleaner and a carpet protectant. The floors need little bit more. Throw some mop & Glow wax on the linoleum. And shine up the counters. There's a central sharing room for silverware plates pots and pans coffee makers, which came in handy since my unit had kitchenette. It was really a 2-3 star, but I give it a 5star cause it is Such a homey and comfy a place.. And that starts with the staff at both the front desk who were SUPER NICE and the house keeping SUPER NICE. The people staying there were all nice . Continental breakfast good YOGERTS cereal , my fav put granola on the YOGERTS, toast, milk oj coffee sweet rolls. If ya want to dine there's all of Alameda or the usual franchises at the mall walking distance. Cable kept buffing and going off. But overall it always came back on. Most enjoyable was the ALAMEDA BEACH OMG ...Priceless!!!!!”

“Drove in at night and it looks sus, checked in and was PLEASED to discover a brand new remodeled upgraded room!!! Everything was clean and fresh. The ceiling even had a cute sky mural painted on it. Bathroom was fresh and clean, they had a dispenser on the wall for shampoo, conditioner and body wash that smelt AMAZING!!! My husband was admitted to the hospital so I needed a room for the night, when he was made to stay a second night, I re-booked. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This place is amazing, private parking, private EV charging (Tesla 220 volt!!!), and full service from an amazing host. We couldn’t have asked for any better! We stayed here at Penthouse One, while moving home and booked direct rather than paying extra to go through AirBnB or VRBO. We ended up staying for 4 months and this location was the perfect ‘home-between-home’! Natalia is the housekeeper and such a lovely lady! Kevin will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as possible.”

“I’ve stayed at Holly Hill three times now and every time it is more and more perfect. Incredible views, comfy lodgings and great hosting by Anita. It really is the perfect getaway from the city. And just a short three minute drive to the rest of Crestline and Lake Gregory. I can’t imagine wanting anything more than what is offered at Holly Hill.”

“What a beautiful hike up Vivian Creek Trail. It was challenging due to how steep it was, not really technical though. The trees are huge and wonderful and the creek adds a serene touch bumping up the visual feels. A must check out hike. The camp sites seemed nice as well with clean bathrooms on site.”

“This place is great! Absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of hiking trails with some spectacular views some that overlook the desert (I know a desert view doesn't sound impressive, but believe me when I say, it is indescribable!) and a few more trails that lead to the two nearby lakes, Big Laguna Lake and Little Laguna. All trails are well maintained and relatively flat making them ideal for novice hikers and those with children. The bathroom facilities were the most pristine I have seen an any campgrounds. The camp host were friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed both in the campground and the nearby trails, but must me kept on a leash at all times. There is potable water for drinking and washing dishes. There are also shower facilities that can be used for a small fee ($1 for 4 minutes) Fires are permitted in fire pits, but you cannot bring your own wood to help avoid the introduction of any foreign insect species. That said the camp host makes several rounds throughout the day with fire wood that can be purchased for $7 a bundle (two bundles last us the night). There is also a nearby general store with basic needs and a small selection of souvenirs. Just down the the street from the store is a restaurant. Admittedly I have never be inside as we were there to camp and get away, but the option is there. All and all, I would highly recommend this location, especially to families with children and pets, but there is something for everyone.”

“We brought our Girl Scout troop here in May of 2017 and had a fantastic time. It was a huge plus for us tired leaders as all the activities and meals were led by the staff. We got to participate and enjoy all the programs with our scouts. All of the staff were so nice and it felt like we were part of a big family. The lodgings were comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. Our girls loved the archery, ropes course, craft time, fishing, fencing, hiking and more. I highly recommend this for troops wanting a weekend camping experience with all the tradition but none of the hassle. A great price for all that is included.”

“Great park, but there's a lot of people that just don't respect the park or the rules. Don't know why but people for some reason don't know how to use the bathroom properly and the work crews have a hard time keeping them clean. Please be respectful so the park can stay great. Thank you”
