“The Terrace motel is an Architectural Gem as well as the Best Place to Stay in the Austin area. I recently spent 3 nights here on a business trip. Since my work kept me busy, it was always a treat to return to the Zen like atmosphere in the evening. The outside courtyard area, with a big shady tree, hammock, and comfortable breezes was restorative, as were the heavenly bed and modern shower with great water pressure. I also loved the ability to go onto the Apple computer in the common area, as well as to grab a cool, refreshing glass of filtered water or healthy yogurt from the refrigerator in the kitchen. And the morning coffee/latte was just what was needed to get the morning going. If you are lucky enough to run into Kimber during your stay, you will meet the genius behind this architectural wonder. I even took a photo of the bathroom in my room to give me ideas for decorating back home. Bravo!”

“We stayed at the Cottage for two wonderful nights. The Cottage was clean, loved how it was decorated and the bed was comfortable. The actual is even better than the web pictures. Our breakfasts were fabulous, Jan and Lou were gracious and went out of their way to help us (my husband is in a wheelchair). We are now converts to Jan and Lou’s hard Apple cider!”

“Room was great for two kids and myself. Having a separate bedroom gave the kids their own space to hangout in and the full kitchen had everything we needed! Kids also enjoyed the game room, which contained a pool table and tv. Breakfast was just what we wanted... The only negatives are, there wasn't much in the neighborhood to walk to and there is an outdoor pool, but no hot tub. Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely recommend it to families.”

“Campground is ideal for ~20 people. Has water facility + the cars can be parked near tent site. Too many racoons visit the site at night so keep the site clean and dispose eatables properly. Loved the panoramic views and the beautiful sunset!”
