“What can I say about the Ritz, except its the Ritz. We have been going to this location now for a few months and my parents have been frequenting this establishment for years. You are pampered from the moment you drive up to the entrance whether you are there for dinner, an event, or a guest at the hotel. We have come here a few times for dinner and I must say the holiday buffet is by far our favorite. Festive and themed to the occasion, waited on constantly, and more options than you can ever imagine of the highest quality of food. The bathrooms were nicer than my house and clean. The guest staff were friendly and always smiling. Perfection. Plus our view from our table overlooking the Pacific ocean right on the beach, at sunset (dinner service) makes it an experience you will not forget. FYI - Valet parking is very affordable if you are there for an event or dinner service and the valet host will ask the reason for your visit and charge accordingly, so no need to ask or be forceful. If you are looking for the perfect event venue, and money is not of concern then you need to come here. Best in Orange County and one of the top places in the USA.”

“I've been here about a dozen times. Some nice views, right along the PCT, has fire pits, and a vault toilet AND picnic tables. Sometimes it can be windy. We brought extra rations of soda and snacks for the thru hikers (I believe this spot is around mile 500 from Mexico, on the way to Canada). I was camping in my roof top tent when a bear came through a few of the camps, so you'll want to be aware of that. I had a cooler WITH NO FOOD just plastic water bottles, and the bear still bit into the cooler probably from previous experience assumed food was in there, but it wasn't a big scare or anything. I had heard the bear has been through camp before. I take my 2 and 5 year olds with me each time I camp and they love the area.”

“A pleasant reminder that Laguna Niguel had oceanfront until it formed a city December 1, 1989, which upset the Orange County Board of Supervisors enough to donate it through a sham election to Dana Point.”

“Not the cleanest part of town, not the Sheraton, but it's cheap a place to rest my head for work and the staff are nice. Pancake were not available my whole stay so that sucked but I stick to myself, don't do drugs and I have pleasant stays in most places. It was cool. People were loud and maintenance guys kept pounding on the wall which seemed unnecessary but what do you expect for the cheapest rate in ie.”

“So beautiful back here & secluded. Quiet, serene. No bathrooms in sight so bring something to "go" in or you're goin behind a bush. It does get VERY frigid back here as well, so if you're camping be sure to bring tons of firewood and blankets. It snows a ton back here too. It's a nice spot to bring the kids to play with or without snow. Does get crowded by individuals who like to go off-roading. Would be a beautiful hike back here too. I would honestly say the only downside is no bathrooms. The road to come in is a tight squeeze and sometimes someone has to pull up on the side wall to let someone through, or just reverese. Depenxs on the size of both vehicles and if there is a train of cars behind one or the other. Really great place, though. I would definitely love to come camping here for a week or so if we had the time & would recommend it to anyone.”
