“Nice place. Could be a little better with the public cleanup. That definitely needs some improvement. But other than that, nice spot to visit. I like it.”

“The rooms are slightly dated but the polite staff, free breakfast AND dinner more than make up for it! Plus they have have free wine and beer during their dinner time. Food was great and beats having to eat out. Rooms also have a kitchenette if you want to cook. I would definitely stay here again. I travel a lot for work and this is by far my best experience!”

“I stayed at Laguna Riviera in November 2018 what an amazing stay. I came to California for surgery and needed a place to stay that was very peaceful and clean and I could not have picked a better place. From check-in to check out everything was perfect. The receptionist at the desk was so kind and helpful in fact everybody that worked there that I came in contact with was amazing so kind and willing to help make our stay more comfortable. The view was perfect I watched the ocean and waves from my bed, it could not have been better. How Beautiful!! I am returning for a follow up in December and Laguna Riviera will be the place I choose to stay again. Thank You thank you for such a wonderful stay!! Tami M”

“This quaint spa is a delightful retreat. They were under some construction when we were there so it was a challenge to get to the Spa but with the help of the young man working and the owner, I was able to manage the rocky slopes up the hill. I am sure the 'deck' that will connect the spa to the lodge will be done by now The staff are very sweet. The surrounding village is delightful and the Grizzly Cafe had some of the best food I have every had. We were unable to take advantage of some of the offered spa equipment in the exercise room or have a meal there but they had tea and coffee available. I highly recommend this sweet facility and the SPA for a relaxing time. The decor is sweet with a true 'homey' atmosphere. Enjoy!”

“One of the very finest hotels in the bay if not the world. Such a hidden gem. Well worth the drive just for lunch in the restaurant if not a weekend getaway or vacation. The peacefulness is striking given it's proximity to San Francisco. With amazing views of the Golden Gate and the city. Breathtaking.”

“GREAT stay. This is our 3rd time staying here. Roadway took it over. They have done an Awesome remodel. Nice, clean. The staff is nice to be around, not intrusive, nice and pleasant. We will most likely have more stays. Our brother lives in San Francisco, about 4 blocks away. He actually Recommended them. Prices are reasonable, as well. The ocean is right there, beautiful. Try this place, you will be happy.”

“Great location. You won't find anything else like this in San Francisco. A throw back to the era it was built. But as long as you aren't expecting hotel comforts this place is phenomenal! Stay here if you want to do San Francisco on a smaller budget! Friendly, safe and surprisingly comfortable beds!”

“This is a beautiful little spot along the PCH. You should note that this is now called THE NATIVE HOTEL and is under new management since 2016. It has been completely gutted and remodeled. Everything about this space is beautiful. The rooms are so cute and spacious. There's plenty of space and seating inside each room. The bed is comfortable with great linens. Decor is thoughtful. The office will walk you to your room and is responsive to all questions and inquiries. There are no TVs which is a great thing - take time and disconnect. Parking is free and by your room. There are no screens in the windows which would be a nice addition. The only issue we had on our visit was that the showers created a lot of condensation which took a while to resolve. (Screens could possibly help this because then the windows could be opened and bugs wouldn't be an issue.) I'd give this 10 stars if I could and have actually discussed a return to Malibu just for this hotel.”

“What an awesome health and fitness program Wellfit Malibu is!!! I was terrified to come to such an intense program, but by doctors orders I had to make a change. I am happy to report that all my fears were laid to rest as soon as I was greeted at the front desk! The education and lectures are very relevant and informative! The fitness classes? Amazing, professional, fun and super effective! The hotel and program culture? Fancy surroundings, yet comfortable and casual. The food? Totally gormet, AND specifically designed to help you lose weight and be the best you can be! However, the real shining star of this program is the staff at Wellfit. Each member is superior an accomplished in their field of expertise. From your first contact with the Reservation Administrator, front desk personnel and dining room servers all the way to the head Hiking Guide and Program Director, each staff member is a beautiful combination of compassion and inner strength that encourages you do more and be more than you ever thought possible. Its a dream team of whole body health and fitness. This has been the most amazing experience of my life! I learned so much about health, nutrition and most of all, what I am capable of on every level. I highly recommend this healing program to improve your health and well-being physically, mentally and emotionally. Leanne Griffin Salem, Oregon”

“Camped there last night...they literally just opened the campsite yesterday. Trail is hard to get to. Need a 4x4 or Jeep. Large rocks on the trail in addition to two parts of a rather large tree that fell on the trail. We had to do work to get by...you get the point now on what I am saying. Once we got there the place did not disappoint. Would have given a 5 except for the pesky nats...there were a lot. No problem with wind. It actually died down at night, and picked up in the morning. Still not bad. Plenty of space, shared the campground with all the PCT'rs making their trek. Will definitely head back.”
