“This place is amazing, it's at the beach, there is going to be sand everywhere. It's at the beach something's will have rust on them from the salt in the air. But to be completely honest, it is one of the most relaxing places to hang out and chill at. Robin is a sweetheart and if you are respectful and courteous that is exactly what you will get in return. I have stayed here at least 5 times when visiting California and I can't say enough about the location. It's on the pier at the beach. In the perfect spot for relaxing by the ocean. Highly recommend.”

“Our family has stayed at serveral Motel 6 in the last 2 years...and this location is the best overall. The staff is very accommodating. They are always there when you need them. They go out of their way to please you. The manager Eddie always has a smile and is very helpful. I would also like to mention the following staff as they always make our stay pleasurable. Thanks to: Oscar, Jose, Luis, Kristina, and my favorite housekeeper Patricia. The entire staff is awesome. Hats off to management for training everyone properly how to treat their guests. “Hilton Garden Inn was outstanding in accommodating all of us displaced evacuees during the fires recently. They had a great buffet going with delicious food and drinks for all different pallets and meat or no meat options. They offered a large ballroom for evacuees( with cots set up) when they reached maximum capacity. I did find out the rooms all come with a microwave and mini fridge! I thought that was a great touch. They also offered rooms with a one or two king bed option! There was a beautiful outdoor pool and spa. We never got to actually check into our room because we were evacuated and sent down to the Hilton Woodland Hills. It was a great experience, however, room or no room, given the terrible circumstances with the fires. Thank you Hilton garden inn for your support and kindness that you extended not just to us, but to everyone who was there that weekend.”

“This place great. I have never been treated so well by hotel staff. They went out of their way to make us happy multiple times. I forgot a razor to shave and they offered one free, Breakfast was great and even though we woke up too late for the continental we were greeted by staff and offered fresh coffee and food or breakfast. The room was clean, bathrooms were very noticeably clean and tidy.. Bed was comfortable and there is a plethora of TV channels to choose from on a nicely sized flat screen TV.. We'll stay here next time for sure! Fantastic service that I've never received before.. 5 stars for customer service alone.. Thank you!”

“Management changed very recently and it's going to take time to undo the issues that were left behind. New manager Denise was great and very helpful. Our stay wasn't without hiccups but they made right the things that needed to be corrected. This hotel has the potential to be great. The location is awesome and hopefully Denise will be given the resources necessary to turn this Extended Stay around. Recommendations to staff: 1. More staff 2. Better breakfast 3. Thorough cleaning of building inside from top to bottom. 4. More frequent housekeeping on rooms booked for multiple nights.”

Only thing that irked me was when I asked the night office person for more coffee packages for the room, she said no there's coffee at the office 24hrs.
