“Last year in November, the weekend before this campground was closed for the winter, we had a 2 night stay here, at site #8. We absolutely fell in love with it. We have a seven-year-old who enjoyed it so much as well. It was really cold at night (high 30s) and cold during the day (50s), but as long as you are prepared, it's lovely. Because it is only an hour and a half away from us, we decided to go back the last week of June for 4 nights. We looked around again and settled on site #9 this time. While we did enjoy our stay, the abundance of mosquitoes bothered us despite repellent spray and citronella candles. Definitely a better camping experience in the fall/winter season. Also, as a general information: the sites 7, 8, 9 and 10 are great as they are big and somewhat secluded with enough trees to provide shade. The last 3 sites (36, 37, 38) are supposed to be great too as they are secluded and shady as well.”

“I stopped in because my car over heated. I was shocked how nice the lobby was, well appointed and modern. The staff was very nice allowing me to use their bathroom. Also very clean and new looking. That staff asked me if I needed additional help and just overall cared about me and the other guests, like, seemingly more than I normally see. I'd stay here if I was looking.”

“lots of bears, you're guaranteed to meet one if you stay the night, like we did.It climbed the tree and got our food, circled our tent as we sat inside, and didn't appear at all frightened by the people around us, all at 4 in the morning. Be aware of the bear cave near the trail to. But lots of scenery. And the water's good if you boil it. Just be careful”

“Cherokee Ranch is a privately owned equestrian facility that offers horseback riding lessons for all experience levels and worry free year-round boarding for horses of any breed, age and gender. The majority of stalls are fully covered with a select few that offer ample cover and access to open sky's. There is a large arena where horses can be turned out for exercise or lessons can be taught with plenty of room for jumps. There is also smaller arena suitable for one horse to stretch it legs. There are two tack rooms to store your gear and two wash areas for bathing horses. One of the highlights the facility offers is direct access to miles of beautiful horse trails that literally start from the back of the property. With friendly clientele and even friendly owners and staff your time at Cherokee Ranch will be well rewarded.”

However, the staff was friendly, private parking right next to your room, large TV, comfy bed, spacious shower with fabulous water pressure, rooms were newly/nicely decorated, and the wifi signal was great. Adequate room for 2 people no more. For the price the Aristocrat Motel is a rare gem. The room I was in was great only thing missing was a mini fridge. I will definitely stay here again if needed! Don't let the location fool you. It's a great Motel.”

“Can't recommend this hotel enough, this is my new go-to for any Disneyland trips. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are big and roomy, you don't feel cramped at all. The complimentary breakfast was really good, cafeteria area was nice and clean, staff was very attentive to any messes and tables that needed clearing. All in all, this is a wonderful hotel for the price. Will be coming back for our next Disneyland trip.”
