“Front desk staff were rude and called my husband a liar which I felt was very unprofessional. Rooms are nice with fridge and microwave. Cleaning staff were nice and friendly. Parking you can only park one vehicle and if you are in a single bed room you are not allowed to have more than 2 people in it. Not even to visit they will access your guess of staying over night and charge you for it. But it was a decent hotel. Other than the guy at the front desk I liked the place. It's not a fancy place so I wouldn't suggest it as a vacation hotel.”

“This cozy cabin in Big Bear was the exact getaway I needed from Los Angeles. The decor was modern and cozy, and I felt right at home. Loved the jacuzzi, full kitchen, and recommendations of local spots to walk to. Highly recommend as a solo trip or with a group. Any time of year is perfect: cozy up in winter or grill outside in the summer!”

I loved the decor and the heated toilet seat, bidet and jacuzzi tub in my suite! You can’t beat the lakeside views. The delicious complimentary breakfast made mornings easier and room service meals were tasty. I loved the meditation room for my mind and the gym for my body. Quiet Mind is a great getaway destination.”

“Very pleasant with our stay. Had an issue with our bathroom and they offered to changed our rooms without hesitation. Staff is so friendly and a nice quiet hotel to stay at. They offer free parking unlike other hotels and they also have a free shuttle for universal studio or other places. Great place to stay if visiting Universal/ Hollywood. Check in is at 4pm so if you arrive in the morning you can enjoy the city before checking in. Will definitely stay here again, only issue is the room with two beds are full size beds so if you’re on the thicker side two of you won’t fit in one bed unless sleeping on your side but it may be a little uncomfortable.”

“Such a beautiful hotel that was enjoyable to all five senses and provides a great experience if you are looking to enjoy a day in Oceanside. I did not stay overnight. My experience was centered around dining there. We had a meal just before sunset in the winter and the view was beautiful!! We enjoyed the art installation as well. Although we did not personally stay overnight, my friends mother remained at the hotel for a week and she loved it. Looking forward to returning with more friends. I’m hoping to have a family day where we stop here to eat as well.”

“Had an amazing, 5 night stay here with my family of 6! Beautiful hotel! Beds were super comfy! Rooms are a little on the small side and have some wear and tear but they do an awesome job of keeping the hotel spotless and the friendly, helpful staff more then make up for any of the minor blemishes. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had! They had an incredible buffet of delicious pastries and parfaits, potatoes, eggs, bacon and sausage, cold cereal, oatmeal, fruit and salad…. Plus a different main course every morning, biscuits and gravy and strawberry crepes were our favorite! The buffet host made us feel right at home and all the staff were so friendly and happy. The pool was pretty big and the perfect temp for a cool refreshing swim and the hot tub was hot! Both were very clean! (We actually saw them cleaning it every morning) Hotel is close to the freeway but our room faced the courtyard and pool so we never heard any road noise. Walls must be well insulated too because we never heard our neighbors either. The shuttle was a huge bonus! The driver was so kind and did a great job!! Absolutely LOVED this hotel and hope to stay again next time we visit the area!!”

“This is a semi-primitive campsite. There is plenty of room for lots of campers so it is good for big groups. There were fours of us with an RV, tent, and tent-trailer and we left most of the site empty. The toilet on the site is a vault-toilet which, for some odd reason, has two toilets in each room with no dividers. There is no water at the site, so bring your own. The fire pits and barbeques were taped off and could not be used but this may be seasonal because of fire danger. Google Maps does not give good directions for the site and the road is easily bypassed as the campground sign is not at the turn-off. The road is dirt and bumpy but is passable by most passenger vehicles with average ground clearance. The site is only a few minutes from downtown Big Bear but feels very remote since there are not other sites or homes nearby. Cell service at the site is surprisingly good; we had no trouble streaming video at the site and no one had any dropped calls. In summary, this good sized spot is a great place to "rough it" without worrying about bothering others with your noise while still being close enough to town to get a Starbucks in the morning and watch some Netflix before turning in for the night.”
