“This was interesting, I think if they offered guided tours it could be way better. Also, you cant climb up to any of the planes. The best part for me was the indoor museum at the end. It's a lot of walking outside so bring comfortable shoes. They do offer scooters for people who need assistance walking long distances. A little pricey in my opinion. I paid $36 for one adult and a teen child.”

“Matt, the manager, was super helpful. We were there for a family wedding; and because the situation allowed, he gave us early check in and late check out. Location ideal - across the street from the Kern River and park; and town square is out the back door. Cheryl's Café - the best eating in town - is next door.”

“If you have to stay in Idyllwild, the Idyllwild Bunkhouse can be recommended. It's a bit to walk from the city center, but the owner constantly drives around picking one up to drive them back. The homemade breakfast was a highlight, very delicious. Rooms were cozy, but a bit cold in the night.”

“Cute little winery inspired by the Italian heritage of one of the owner. The wines were good. We bought multiple bottles, specially of their port. The tasting is free and the environment is very nice. I would recommend stopping by.”

“We book here to be close to Snow Summit for skiing. The location is perfect - there was a 3 ft wall behind the unit (we had #120) you can hop over and chair 1 is about 60ft away! Checkin staff were super friendly and helpful. Only negative is the unit it’s self is very dated, but had everything you’d need and was comfortable. The complex is huge so I’ve attached a map so you can try get one near the slopes. They also back onto the forest so loads of places for snow play.”

“Stayed at this place as a kid and now an adult. Great place to stay for the Isabella Lake Fishing Derby. Kitchen has microwave and fridge with dinning room chairs and table. (No stoves anymore due to fire restrictions). Building is old but towels, linens, and bathroom are clean. New TV, friendly staff, and a quiet lot. Beautiful view of the lake in the morning. Staff helpful, and always book direct for the best rate!”

“We lived there for almost 10 years and it's a great community! Responsive staff, great amenities, pleasant environment and amazing neighbors. Also pretty convenient location. Both our kids were born there and pool and jacuzzi were some of their favorite things. Also plenty of green compared to other parks around. If you are considering a mobile home community, this one is definitely a great one to consider!”

“We booked here very last minute after a cancellation somewhere else and we're very happy with our night there. There a lot of great hiking spots in the area. There is a nice tavern across the street with music and simple food, but it was all good. The lodge itself was empty when we were there, but we were free to hang out there. And it had a nice little breakfast. All around, very pleasant. No wifi in the rooms though.”

“I've seen some poor reviews here, but the problems we experienced were from irresponsible destructive campers rather than the site or staff. Both volunteer ladies here are wonderful. Maintenance people are team workers and dedicated to their jobs. Someone was a jerk and stuff garbage into the dump station rather than in the dumpster right there. I called the project office and within 30 minutes 3 people were working on it. They kept working until it was again usable and we could clear our tanks. They stood by to be sure it continued until we finished. Definitely friendly and good customer service. Site was fairly level and we had no problem leveling or space for both our car and motorhome. No problem with 50 amp hookup. Although the water spigot was quite a distance (50' m/l), we hooked it up. Didn't like the taste, and pets wouldn't drink it, so we bought bottled water in town. Town is only about 15 minutes away, and you can find most anything you need there. All in all, good campground and worth a return visit when in the area.”

“Overall cool place if your only spending a couple of hours there. Never spent the whole night there. Cons: I gave them 4 stars cause they need to update there linen or use bleach, but when I ask for better sheets and towels there's no problem and they give them to me.”

“Let me start with the service. It was amazing. Everyone is very friendly. For the price, the room was very appropriate and overall a good deal. There were quite a few stains on the sheets and curtains that looked I bit like they may have been blood, which I was not a fan of, and why I did not give a 5 star.”
Address: 405 Palm Canyon Dr, Borrego Springs, CA 92004, USA
“I had a wonderful girls trip to the Borrego Valley Inn. We loved the fireplace in our room and watching the stars from the hot tub. The rooms were modern and comfortable. I loved the how quiet the area was. We were able to walk to restaurants and we were close to many great hiking locations in Anza Borrego! We will definitely return.”
Address: 201 Carnelian Bay Ave, Carnelian Bay, CA 96140, USA
“I thoroughly read the reviews before booking. I was a little reluctant but very glad I did! The room was so clean, check in process was easy, had everything a hotel room would have with the bonus of a full kitchen. Seems like a lot of these negative reviews are from people thinking they were booking the ritz-Carlton or something. It’s a MOTEL. And it’s INEXPENSIVE. Were you expecting a personal butler and 5 star amenities??? I mean do your research ppl. Overall the location is amazing right across the street from a great restaurant on the water and a beach. And it met all our basic needs for the weekend. I would come back. Of note, I loved the old school, small business feel of it! I’d rather give my money to an independent hardworking person than a greedy hotel chain.”

“Every one is very friendly, clean rooms and quick service if you have a problem. Would recommend to anyone especially if flying as right near the airport and car rental.”
