“Have been here twice and have loved it. Once tent caning but most recently with my trailer on a tent site and it was spacious. I will say it was the last one available so we got the handicap spot which may be bigger than usual. No direct hook up but there is water fill up and dump station (extra $10 to dump). Hosts were really nice and helpful. Love how close it is to the lake with walking/bike paths. There are plenty of trees around for good shade (and beautiful). Bathrooms were clean and place was pretty quiet. Will most likely come back again.”

“Staff is incredible. The entire area of VALLEY OASIS/VOA territory is patrolled by LASD. The dorms are filled with beds with people who are enduring the Winter without a home. Only 90 days with a case manager here who is supportive and determined to rapidly re-house each participant. The policy is strictly enforced which mainly require no drugs, no fighting & no theft just to name a few- curfew at 10pm- lights on at 6am. There's no pressure to do anything. It's very important to meet with your case manager weekly. There are showers three times a day, clean clothing available, free washers and dryers available every day throughout the week. Breakfast, lunch & dinner provided. Smoking is allowed in the designated area. A huge recreational area to spend time socializing with the new people going through the same hardship of homelessness. Best of all, there's coffee and your able to ask for seconds. Also, there is a vending machine in case you want to buy snacks. There is only one bus line that runs nearby from Quartz Hill to Owen Memorial Park throughout the day. Bus stop is in walking distance to ride the AVTA #9 BUS. ITS NOT the RITZ however it's clean, safe and patrolled. Good enough for me.”

“I love this Motel. Pan the owner, is friendly, straight up and minds his business. The location is great, it's just out side of town on the outskirts. It's small and the cops don't patrol it like they do the Motel 6 and all of the other Motels in Watsonville, Santa Cruz and Salinas. Sure, it's a little out dated but if your on parole or probation and are trying to kick it or maybe your looking for a place to do a quicky and your boyfriend/girlfriend isn't comfortable at the other spots in town because the local cops are constantly circling the parking lots, so their performance isn't up to par (if you know what I mean, wink- wink😉) then this is the place for you! “My husband and I moved to Chateau Catered Living from the Chateau’s Independent Living when he became in need of 24 hour assistance; the move was much less stressful for him since we were able to still participate in the activities and join friends in the dining room, there were still many familiar parts and people in his day. The staff warmly welcomed us and helped us adjust to our new lifestyle; their care and caring way quickly established trust that we would be safe and well tended to. Their quick response and sometimes seeming to know there was a need before we did has never faltered. As I am in a wheelchair I have remained in Catered Living since my husband’s passing receiving the same quality of care; though my needs are much different I have confidence I will be well cared for.”

The management team was professional, courteous and knowledgeable when showing me the various floor plans offered at this location. The custodial and maintenance staff are dedicated in maintaining the property with the highest regard to curb appeal and are fast and efficient in remedying maintenance issues! The entire staff makes themselves available to help assist in making your home, your castle. “We were here for a week on site 8 and 9. It's a nice campground but campsites are kinda close to each other although some of the campsites look apart from each other on the campground map. Once you see the campground turn right into it cause Google maps will tell you to continue past the entrance towards a narrow road with no entrance to campground and it's not easy making a u turn! I stayed on site 8 which had bathrooms and water close by. I heard other campers saying the water wasn't working near their site, I guess that's why everyone was coming for water by where we stayed. Bathrooms were okay at times but there is lots of flies and toilet paper does finish quickly so good thing we took our own. DON'T FORGET THE BUG SPRAY!!! We still got bit but it would've been worse if we didn't have it. The mosquitoes was what made me not want to be there! They usually go away when you have a campfire but it's not allowed right now😔. There's also 2 general stores near by that close early but one of them closes til 8 or 9 pm on Fri/Sat. I would stay here again if I knew the mosquitoes weren't going to be such a big problem! I can't tolerate the normal here and there mosquito.”
