“This is a hidden gem. Picked someone up with Lyft and I didn't know this place was here. The homes are well maintained and each space actually has a nice size yard. Very quiet and peaceful. The spaces need better yard care, but was told that these were rental units and several have just been sold. Looking forward to seeing the yards next spring. Looks like a very nice place to live”

“Beautiful sites and scenery. We had a double site for $50 a night. No discounts with passes. I don't see how two campers could occupy that site except for tents ,camper vans, and small motorhomes with no sliders. However, we loved our site with full lake view. Great camp host made friendly rounds and delivered firewood. We did a lot of off road bicycling. People active on kayaks and paddle boards.”

“Nice Park ! Holly (Harris) is a Great manager at the Isleton MH & RV PARK in Isleton. She cares about the tenants and the property. Since the new owners have taken over and Holly was employed as Manager, the property is cleaner, quieter , safer and a great place to live. She is on point when it comes to the appearance and security of the property. Also very kind yet professional with the tenants . Improvements and upkeep are being done here daily. This property has come a very long way for the better with Monte Cristo as owners. ( please note, many reviews here are several years old-huge changeover in management/owners have taken place -100%different).”

“From the moment we stepped foot at The Marlin we loved everything about this hotel! It was a pleasure staying here!! We absolutely loved everything about the room and how modern and clean it was and my husband loved his birthday decorations and weekend!! Max, the owner was able to accommodate my request and he was so kind, welcoming, and caring, and we really appreciated it! We had everything we needed and there were beach towels and beach chairs already in our room. Max made sure we had everything we needed. And to top it off the beach is literally right in front of you, just steps away. The customer service was excellent and everytime we come to Florida we will be staying here!!!”

“Quick 2 night stay for Disney. Housekeeping is by request ( just FYI ) but they stocked the room with enough towels and things that we didn't have to bother them. I always find it mysterious when they suspend housekeeping but only give you a day worth of stuff, but I digress. Left my suit in the closet accidentally; their lost and found process has been smooth and responsive as well. The breakfast little scan and go thing was super convenient, and Carla who checked us in communicated everything I needed to know. From one hospitality professional to another, I appreciated you guys taking care of me!”

“I could be a little critical of the space we had but we have a triple slide 32” in a back-in site so it’s understandable. Big fan of this campground. Dog area is a hike but it’s HUGE! That’s important to us. They are doing renovations to the landscaping and while it’s not complete it’s going to look great and I can appreciate the effort put into beautification. If we are in Truckee again it’s an easy choice to stay here again.”

The clubhouse has a workout room below as well as a swimming pool, the office staff is pleasant and knowledgeable and work hard to make the common areas enjoyable for everyone. The homes are kept up very nice as well as the yards, and everyone that I have have met is very pleasant and seems pleased to be a part of this community. Access to the freeway some shopping is close, but the environment is quiet with lots of Wildlife, so you would not know you were as close to a main shopping area as you really are. If you are looking for a 55 and older community you should contact kloshe to see about any available homes for sale.”

“Glenn is an old school mechanic. It is nice to have someone work on your car or truck with no chance of getting cheated, over charged or gouged on prices. Glenn has been a mechanic for more years than I've been alive. He knows his stuff on so many different aspects of being a mechanic. Diesel trucks new and old. He is very meticulous and clean when he works. His ability to make sure the job is done right the first time is uncanny. Very nice, upbeat and talkative person as well as one hell of a mechanic!”

“Mills Rose Inn is a remarkable romantic gateway to celebrate any occasion. I went to Mills Rose Inn for my 24 year wedding anniversary (May 30-31). I was beyond impressed by the scenery, location, guest service and the clean, charming room. My first impression was a remarkable one when Terry, the owner, greeted me at the door and walked my husband and myself to our room. His customer service was impressive and I felt as part of the family. The room had a special charm, very clean which each detail of the room was designed by the co owner Eve, who I had a pleasure to speak with. Very sweet and charming woman who has excellent taste and cares very much for every special details of the place who makes it so special. The breakfast served the next day was delicious, homemade and had a very special touch. The surrounding of the inn was very peaceful and so beautiful. I love roses and there were plenty to look at. The property is very well maintained and the owners truly care about each guest. A person truly feels as home when staying at the Mills Rose Inn. My 24 year anniversary was extra special because I stayed here. I highly recommend anyone to stay at the Mills Rose Inn.”
