“Decent park near our home. Shaded picnic tables and restrooms. It is usually kept pretty clean until covid I’ve seen a little more trash. Yes we have seen some possibly homeless/unkempt people there. And a lot of other places let’s be honest guys. We can’t live in a bubble. Have compassion and be courteous to others and you’ll be happier in life. We have never had an issue with anyone there. I didn’t like that they taped the playground off for covid regulations. But I don’t think they had a say. I may carry antibacterial and wipes with me but I know not everyone does. This park is right across the street from a fire station so that’s awesome. If something happened to one of us I know we’d get a fast response time. ? Not much in way of parking just street parking and not a lot of it. It is a pretty small park so there’s not really a need for more. Last week I took my fourth grader to visit the park and there was another little boy there with his dad. He was playing with a soccer ball and let my son play with him. They had a grand ole time. Remember just introducing yourself to people and having fun playing together? I wish we all still did that as adults. How cool would that be?”

“All play equipment is in good condition. Just the normal wear and tear of course. Cute replica house, tower, and trolley. Two playgrounds. Nice gazebo's with picnic tables, great for parties or bbqs. They have grills by the gazebos. No regular swings only one handicap and three baby swings.”

“This review is from my experience Post-COVID. Spectacular views with wonderful lighting to take some great pictures. With Covid being a main concern, this Japanese Garden does a wonderful job of keeping limited people inside to ensure there's as much space as possible for everyone to enjoy. Tickets are $12 for general admission and well worth it! I would recommend carrying sunblock. Most areas are shaded but if you plan on taking a lot of pictures like I did, you'll be needing that sunscreen. Overall wonderdul experience and staff, can not recommend enough.”

“This place is so beautiful. Parking costs $6 - so worth it. The landscape is very well maintained. There are a free of waterfalls, a bridge to take wonderful photos on, and nicely lined walkways. Note: bring bug spray. The mosquitos can be nasty! This is right next to the San Joaquin County Museum so definitely an area to spend hours at, especially if you want to go to the zoo, play some disc golf, or just have a nice famoly reunion.”

“Rutland park is a nice place to take a morning jog or just to have a nice little picnic. It Isn't the biggest, but a nice roomy size for many. Small playground but also has some basketball courts and a volleyball net. Large grassy area at the back and I will add pictures for reference.”
