“This is a very beautiful park. There is plenty for one to do at this park. One can play basketball, jog, power walk, picnic, and just lay in the grass and enjoy nature.”

“There is very little shade out there, so plan your outing accordingly. Most trails are cleared and even though my trail was rated east, there are still rocky areas and a moderate incline.”

“I enjoy running that trail for a quicker, easier day. The views aren't so bad either. Is mostly flat if you make a right at the T after crossing the bridge on West Bernardo. If you make a left, the trails are more fun. There are a few trails with some good hill work out..”

“Great playground for kids of various ages. Our grandsons loved the playground and had a chance to try out their scooters on the paved trail. The playground has a "Zip Line" type swing that the kids totally loved. (see video) Very clean and well maintained. Also picnic tables in a semi shaded area overlooking the playground that is popular for birthday parties. Parking is available nearby.”

“Great park! Kind of secluded which gives it a private feeling. There are 2 basketball half-courts. 2 play structures for little and bigger kids. There is also a large gated grassy area that is perfect for letting does run around off leash. There are bathrooms with water and drinking fountains. Nice shade trees as well. Only about a dozen parking spots but there is street parking also.”

“Landscaping is immaculate and the playground and equipment is great and well maintained. There is a section for younger kids like 5 y/o and another for older bigger kids. Also the field has a gentle slope to it but is flat and big enough for 2 football games simultaneously.”

“Memories and my whole experience of Arrowbear Music Camp, its beloved founder (the late) Fred Ohlendorf, and everyone associated with it still warm my heart to this day 50 years from my last camp session. Kids/young musicians who attend are forever changed in a wonderful and far reaching way. Five stars don't do it justice, I give Arrowbear Music Camp 1000 stars. Thank you Fred, you're missed by everyone blessed to have been influenced by you. ”

“Nice campground. We came in late at night so we stole the camp host spot. He came to collect fees in the morning and was totally understanding and super helpful explaining where the other campgrounds and yellow post sites were. Unfortunately they were out of water when we went but everything was clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back!”

“I cannot express in words how AMAZING and cute this place is. I had my husband's surprise there on December 7th, 2019 and every thing was perfect. It's an old barn built in the late 1800's, but it's being updated. Full functioning kitchen, restrooms outside and inside, heater works really nicely (it was a very cold night) non of guest complained of being cold. There was plenty of parking. But most important I want to thank the owners Joe & Leann for being so helpful. I ran into a small issue and all I had to do was send a text and they were there in less than 10 min taking care of it. My guest never even noticed because the problem was handled that fast. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a country venue. We will definitely be using it again in the future.”
